The hotel is conveniently located near Sai Ying Pun MTR station. There are also several bus stops right outside, with routes going to Central and across the harbor. The hotel breakfast tasted good, although the variety was a bit limited. The room was clean; at least, I didn't find any dirty spots during my stay. The only downside was the painfully slow Wi-Fi, so much so that I had to use my own mobile hotspot.

My original booking was for 2 nights stay for superior room and I subsequently brought forward 1 more nights stay and have to book a superior suite. I have to book to separate 1 night stay as the hotel refused to modify the dates saying it is their policy. Upon arrival, I requested if I can stayed in the same room for 3 nights and the answer was I have to pay extra for upgrading the 2 nights from superior to superior suite. I told them their superior room Was not available when i booked and they said they have the room. If i choose to stay in superior room, no refund for my extra 1 night booking under the superior suite booking. Aside from this, i have to check out of my suoerior suite and move to the uperior room. Again they said is their policy. The services are really bad. Anything I asked they quoted is their policy. No flexibility at all. This is frustrating as this hotel is not the first time I stayed. There were no complimentary water, tooth brush etc. I checked with the service counter and was told to purchase from the vending machine on the 5th floor. The last time I stayed in this hotel, basic stuff like any hotel were available.

Stayed here for a business trip, it's conveniently located near the University of Hong Kong, making it easy to get around. I didn't book breakfast at the hotel, as there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it was decent and perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler.

This is my sixth stay at this hotel, and the elegant environment and excellent service remain consistently good. What's truly worth mentioning is its incredibly convenient location. It's just 2-3 blocks from the Sai Ying Pun MTR Exit B3 and 2 blocks from the University of Hong Kong MTR Exit B1. For airport access, the A10 bus stop is right across the street on Water Street, providing a direct, seamless connection to the airport passenger terminal. There are also plenty of 'ding ding' trams right outside, so you can hop on whenever you like. Mannings, Watsons, and a Circle K are just a few steps away, along with numerous delicious and affordable eateries. It's super convenient for shopping, eating, and exploring. I'll definitely be returning to the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong on my next trip to Hong Kong.

This hotel offers great value for money in Hong Kong! My child is at the University of Hong Kong, and it's very close to the school. Every time I visit my child in Hong Kong, I stay at this hotel. The triple room is also reasonably priced.

Arrived at 11 AM, couldn't check in early. After registering, we went for lunch, explored Hong Kong University, and then returned to the hotel. You need to use your key card to access the floors, which made me feel quite safe. In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, this executive suite was incredibly spacious. It had two double beds, two sofa beds, and two bathrooms, and offered a sea view. Although the facilities were a bit dated, I was still very satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent. The tram stop is just five meters from the entrance, so you can literally step off the tram and directly into the hotel on a rainy day. There are tons of restaurants downstairs; Zhou Kee Tea Restaurant is particularly good. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the MTR, with Sai Ying Pun Station Exit 3 being the closest.

The hotel unfortunately did not meet my expectations. There were moths flying around the room, and after the first night I woke up with multiple bites, most likely caused by bed bugs. The overall cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. On the positive side, the location is quite good — there are many nice restaurants and cafes nearby, and the hotel has convenient access both to the city center and the airport.

Arrived late at night and was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a sea view after opening the curtains. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, even with a power adapter for charging. There were plenty of mirrors, and the bathroom even had a vanity table. The windows were sealed, so you couldn't open them for a breeze, and the exhaust fan had to be on constantly. The major issue was the strong musty smell coming from the drawer in the entryway. I just casually opened it to put some things away and was hit with a very noticeable moldy odor. I'd seen reviews mentioning a musty smell, but I didn't notice it upon check-in. Then, the next night, I opened the drawer again and was overwhelmed by the smell. Is this a common problem with wooden cabinets? I really hope the hotel addresses this odor issue, especially since so many people have reported it. Overall, my stay was quite good, right up until I opened that drawer.
