Astil Hotel Shin-Osaka Precious

9.4/10
Amazing

Quiet and cozy, yet fully equipped, it features a lovely rooftop onsen. It's conveniently located on a commercial street right by Hankyu Mikuni Station. You'll find plenty of convenience stores and dining options nearby. Plus, Umeda is only about 3-4 train stops away. The onsen itself, while small, was sparkling clean.

Facilities: Overall very good. Breakfast was just okay, but there's a convenience store and bakery downstairs, so you can easily book without breakfast and not worry about waking up early. Hygiene: Very clean. Comes with a full set of Refa hairdryer, curling iron, and straightener. Environment: The environment is great. There are large supermarkets and convenience stores downstairs, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to the subway. Service: Couldn't check in early. I recommend communicating with the hotel in advance if you want an early check-in, otherwise, they won't let you check in early at all. We stayed on the 50th floor in a triple room with single beds. The view was amazing, you could see USJ. It's also very close by subway or Uber.

The hotel's location is super convenient. You can take the Nankai Electric Railway directly from Kansai Airport to Namba, then walk straight after seeing Takashimaya, and you're there. It's perfect for someone like me who loves to eat and shop; I can even drop off my purchases at the hotel first. After a long day of exploring, a hot spring bath at night is great for relieving fatigue. The hotel's breakfast is also good, even though there isn't a huge variety, it's quite tasty, with both Japanese and Western options.

At Dormy Inn Kithama, every stay is a perfect harmony of comfort and thoughtful hospitality. From the moment you enter, the serene ambiance and impeccable cleanliness set a tone of deep relaxation. The signature natural hot spring onsen washes away travel fatigue, while the complimentary late-night ramen is a delight for the soul. Rooms are cozy sanctuaries, equipped with premium amenities and the famously comfortable pajamas. Each day begins beautifully with a generous and delicious breakfast buffet. It’s more than a hotel—it’s a rejuvenating retreat where every detail is crafted for your peace and satisfaction.

The room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦‍♀️

Hotel Hanshin Osaka

I recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient. Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue. If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

Such an amazing hotel, the location is just a few blocks away from the main travel spots which is amazing, breakfast is a typical japanese style buffet but high quality which is pretty awesome. On top of that, there is a public bath on 13th floor, not too crowded, clean facility, also the staff members are kind and supportive. Had a really good time in there, thanks!

Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24. This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

The place is really awesome. Super convenient as its right in the heart of do to ori and only 3 mins from the station. Very easy to move around and there's a few 7 eleven, family mart, mcdonald's nearby. GU and uniqlo is also nearby for shopping. Rooms are very spacious and decently clean. Tried the insen twice as well and it's quite the experience.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!
