Stayed here for 2 days and have never wanted to leave a place so quickly. We arrived after a long 7 hour journey up the mountains, the drive is beautiful even though the roads can be rocky in some places. Check in seemed smooth until it took 40 mins for them to organise a buggy to take us to our room. When we finally got one after someone else stole the one that was meant to take us, we were driven up with the hotel laundry. The actual room was OK, for a hotel that claims to be 5* - it is anything but - I would say more 3*. There was about 10 power cuts, in which everytime it would turn back on the TV would turn back on so in the middle of the night we had to wake up and move furniture to unplug it. The bathroom was disgusting. Mouldy, had a smell of mould, if you open the cupboard under the sink it well it not pleasant. The tiles are falling of the walls, the hand wash holder was old and grimey - the sink had black marks all around the edges. Again, for somewhere that claims to be 5* - the bathroom is more like 2*. The hot water is limited - whilst we are staying in the mountains, if it is limited they should be informing us and communicating properly about the facilities. Now the service, everytime you ask the staff about something its all great and everything is possible however when it comes to actioning it, none of them knew what was going on. I feel like the main problem here doesn't sit with the staff but the training that is implemented and the processes. As mentioned above when waiting for the buggy, there were about 5 people just standing around doing nothing or looking like they don't know what to do. The buggy service really also makes no sense. You call reception for a buggy - they say up to 10 mins which is fair but often that's not the case and you can be waiting 20/25 mins. There should be buggy points from each corner which comes every 5-10 mins, for a big resort it seems there is one buggy and one shuttle. We had also asked the staff to post something, they assured us it would be done and we can collect our receipt the next evening. We checked in the morning before we left and all seemed OK. We checked in the evening and they said sorry it can't be done - again that is fine but this should have been communicated with us properly as we stressed to them it needed to be done and before we checked out. We were only there two nights. Dinner was nice both days, breakfast was OK. The only pro is the stunning views and being able to see a beautiful sunrise just from by room. As we were checking out: We asked to speak to the manager who then completely avoided and ignored us. We did some laundry with them, they had a special offer on yet tried to charge us a whole different price to which we then had to break it down to them. Just a complete mess.

Filthy !! We went for nostalgia to the restaurant as we had stayed there ages ago n thankfully did not stay there this trip !! The food was bad. The place dingy, sticky and dirty. Everything had a feeling of seen better days !! Totally avoidable.

Its been an excellent experience as always. Every member of the team go all their way out to look after us and ensure we are not only comfortable but also pampered well. You can see the energy and enthusiasm with each and every member of this team which is contagious. A special mention to the chef Vignesh, who goes that extra mile to seek each and every guest's preference and makes extra effort to satiate their taste buds with his culinary skills. Kudos to @Shinow, the Manger and his entire team.

All are ok except reception response at the time of check out. We called reception people 4 times they didn't respond and We are waiting for more than one half hour for check out. We went directly to the reception and asked to send the buggy to carry the luggage.

Front desk incharge Lekhika, F & B incharge Sony and Chef Vignesh all were really excellent supportive specially chef Vignesh made our holiday memorable. 👌We are little particular about our food but he has taken utmost care about it with always smiling

We recently stayed at Club Mahindra Munnar Lake View Hotel from 09-05-2024 to 14-05-2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. The room size was perfect for our family, and the location, overlooking the mountains and even offering views of a rainbow, was simply breathtaking. The variety of activities for both kids and adults, including the Godampura Night Jeep Safari, added excitement to our vacation. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the delicious Kerala cuisine served throughout our stay. Special thanks to Chef Vignesh for his courteous service and for preparing the delightful Mor Kuzhambu upon our request, making us feel truly special. A highly recommended destination for a memorable getaway.

We made the decision to relax and spend our summer vacation in Munnar. Due to the vacation season, Munnar town was experiencing heavy traffic and large crowds. Club Mahindra at Chinnakanal provided a very welcome change for our stay. We had previously stayed at Mount Serene during our last visit in 2022, so Chinnakanal was our preferred choice. We were assigned room #1124, which was well-furnished. A refrigerator was promptly added upon request. We must express our appreciation for the courteous service provided by Mr. Murugan, Head -House keeping team and his team. The daytime weather is generally warm, while the evenings are much more pleasant with some mist formation. There is no need to bring any winter clothing. However, guests should be prepared to walk down approximately 150 to 200 steps or they can request a buggy for assistance.

It was full of fun…..Munnar is so good to have tea with coolness….happy to stay and dine…..was full of fun and entertainment….excellent hospitality too…..should thank the service staffs for their kindness and service….totally a very good fun trip…rides were also good…

It was excellent. The best trip I had in years I as a young adult had lots of fun there are activities for all age groups so everyone can enjoy even preschoolers!! My whole family loved the trip and we really enjoyed how enthusiastic the staff was!!

Karthik service was excellent and would visit again in two three months and staff are like family members and it was a wonderful experience in club Mahindra Munnar

An awesome resort with wonderful views in the midst of a tea garden. Many tourist spots to visit. Very spacious rooms, well furnished. Excellent house keeping. Very good restaurant with buffet and lots of varieties. Many activities in the activity centre including adventure games. Night safari to Gudamparai peak with mashal walk in the jungle and Forest trail Trek arranged by Thomas of the activity centre and accompanied by Alwyn memorable.

Living quarters are large & comfortable. Sheets are clean. Bathroom cleanliness can improve. Hot water in one bath got exhausted - Mahindra resorts to address this issue. Thanks to Solok who has responded to calls quickly. Good food spread in the buffet. Very nice staff … a bit understaffed though.
