Home2 Suites by Hilton Cleveland Independence

This hotel is at the back of a business park in independence, Ohio. The decor in the hotel was very modern and updated. During our stay, the electricity went out and so did the elevators as well as breakfast in in the morning. But apparently they must’ve had a generator for continuing on with the breakfast. The breakfast was very good with waffles and eggs and other hot items, lots to choose from. The hotel room was very nice. It had a kitchenette and a living room partition off with a king bed and of course the bathroom. Everything was clean and the decor was very nice and there weren’t any dings or scrapes or anything broken in the room. I would stay here again in the future I would recommend this hotel for staying in Ohio near Cuyahoga national Park

REALLY CLEAN & REALLY FRIENDLY STAFF We chose Home 2 because of prior reviews of other hotels in the area and this location did not disappoint. Friendly staff upon check in and spotless and spacious room. We loved the full-size refrigerator and kitchen area in the room. Bed was comfortable and had a great night sleep. We were able t pick our room before arriving and were lucky to be able to choose a room that was not occupied on either side of us, though I didn't hear anyone in the hallways either. 15 minute drive to Progressive Park was perfect for our stay. Safe, quiet area away from the hustle of the city was the perfect way to end the night.

Comfortable and clean, and the nicest person (Annie) ever in charge of the breakfast buffet. Highly recommended. The staff could not have been more helpful, and the location is conveniently located next to a major corporate park in the Cleveland suburbs.

I recently stayed at this hotel and frequently stay for business. I am a Diamond member so I'm always on the road. Finding a clean hotel with great service is challenging. This hotel is always clean and the front desk is always great. Faye the GM is always there with friendly service. Glad I Stayed here!

I have been coming to this hotel for work for the last few months spending 10 days there at a time , my last trip there the company's card that reserved my room was but the manage (Faye) made sure i had a room for the night until the situation was solved. Between Faye and the clerk (Robyn) they have been more than hospitable and go above and beyond to make you feel like a true honored guest with everything from warm greetings to doing everything they can to make you comfortable and feel at home knowing your away from family for extended periods of time. I would highly recommend this hotel and have made it a point to pass my thoughts and feelings along to my company as a definite place to continue using now and in the future

Clean safe place to stay. I have enjoyed staying at this hotel on several occasions. The staff are wonderful and very attentive to your needs for sure. Mrs Faye the manager sees to everyone's needs and very professional. Mrs Robin at the front desk is the sweetest and most polite front desk clerk I have ever met. I look forward to staying with them again.

I am actually writing this because I was very shocked to get a call 3 days to my booking from FAYE HORNYAK (GM). She called regarding a note I left on my reservation "Its my wife's birthday, it will be nice if something can be arranged", apparently that gave her a RED flag. She called assuming that I am going to throw a party all the way from CANADA and she stated that the hotel does not allow that, her tone was not very pleasant and does not sound that friendly either. I was in the middle of my work and I was not thinking straight. Later on, questions appeared in my mind so I called back to have a proper conversation since she is a GM she would have more knowledge as how to address a HILTON GOLD MEMBER but she was away from her office. My point is that I was really upset by that prejudice assumption she made and you should never call a guest before their arrival unless hotel has any issues, well guess what. I am moving to Hampton Inn and I will make sure Hilton customer care coaches her, how to deal with guest in general and specially HILTON HONORS MEMBER (GOLD). I am really disappointed as I was looking forward to having a goodtime at Cleveland for the first time with my wife. But I will not let Faye's phone call ruin my trip, I will tell you that. Taking my business somewhere else and I hope Faye learns her lesson and treats her guest with respect and dignity. PS: Doubletree by Hilton went above and beyond when I left a note like that considering they could ve made assumptions too. So there is no excuse for this kind of treatment.

I frequently visit home 2 suites for work, the staff is beyond friendly. They really make your stay feel like you’re at a home away from home . Over 100 days I have spent here and I cannot think of one that was unpleasant . If home 2 suites has hit your radar there’s no need to look any further

Sometimes I travel for business, sometimes I travel for vacation. This was the latter. When I am on vacation, I like to sleep in. What I don’t like is being woken up at 8:30 AM by a 90 decibel klaxon inside my hotel room because the hotel was “testing” the building fire alarm. When my heart rate came back down to double digits, I tried getting back to sleep, and over the next couple of hours, the alarm kept going off intermittently. So no sleep was gotten. I eventually went down to the front desk to see what was going on, when I learned that they were testing the alarm system. Some lady (the GM?) acted annoyed with me and told me “there was a note on the front desk yesterday”. I did in fact check in the previous day and there was no note at the front desk, or any indication whatsoever that this would be happening. If I wanted to be woken up by loud noises, I would have joined the military.
