Residence Inn Indianapolis Downtown on the Canal Reviews

The location was great. It's only 10-15 mins walk to the city centre. There's also a Kroger supermarket nearby. The staff are also very helpful. The breakfast selection is not great but good enough. However, it's just very wasteful to use disposable plastic cutlery for breakfast.

Me and a friend decided to get a room here for the Motley Crue concert considering the price is cheaper than most other hotels. I highly recommend this place. Staff was great, room was beyond clean and the canal view was amazing. We both walk to and from Lucas Oil and the mile walk felt safe.

The bed mattress wasn’t comfortable and the bathroom tub nozzle was loose. Breakfast was great and the it was quiet on our floor. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

My only gripe is they charge you $30 for parking. They are a little on the high side too.

The only problem i had with the stay was the condition of the sofa bed. It was so poor my grand had a terrible back ache after sleeping on it.

This was a nice and clean hotel. The location was close to the IN government center which is where we had to do business.

I have stayed here before. Excellent rooms, has everything we need, very reasonable, immaculate, polite professional staff. I will continue to use this as my home away from home when I visit Indianapolis.

Staff was very accommodating and able to offer a room upgrade since it was available that night. Very convenient to get to and from and in a safe neighborhood.

The room was very spacious, nicely updated and very comfortable. I don’t know why I haven’t been staying at the Residence Inn all these years. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was pleasant.

Nice location. Breakfast buffet was very good. Good selection. Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. A bit of a walk for restaurants and shopping, but area was nice area to walk.

$30 for parking. Description says “parking available”. If you’re going to have to pay for parking it should be included in the price or description. Not something that gets rammed up your a after it’s too late to do anything about it.

The staff was amazing. My checkin was quick and easy. Ill def stay again in a few weeks

The accessibility around the area was very nice due to the Lime Scooters, very fun way to explore everything around the hotel and downtown.

It took almost 2 hours to check in. Waiting in their lounge area for that time is ridiculous. We also did not have sufficient time then to get ready for our event.
