AHG Atlas Hotel Taksim

Taksim Istanbul|2.82km from Dimitrie Cantemir Cafe
I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

Hotel Troya Balat

Fatih
My favourite Hotel in Turkiye, I went to 6 all up.do not expect spas or swimming pools. Expect an eclectic lively hotel in the fabulous area of Balat. Lovely rooms a comfortable bed, windy stairs, great decor and a fabulous popular restaurant with great food. Not to be missed if you want to stay in the old area overlooking the water. You may even see a Turkish tv series being filmed as I did

polite treatment. ! There is heating! Water pressure is good, hot always was. No elevator, the cart was left in the hall. Cute dogs as inhabitants. Furniture and plumbing are old, but everything is pretty clean. The area was very enjoyable, often from the window watched the local movement. Noise, the music of the muezin for us is not a hindrance, on the contrary gives the feeling of being in the flow of life. Pedestrian walked everywhere, used only ferry to the Asian side. Breakfasts are normal, we were enough. Transfer to the airport ordered through the receptacle.

Loft-style room, there is a teapot, fan, refrigerator, shower set, air conditioner. Good pedestrian accessibility from the historical part. Near the embankment. Cleaning once every 2 days. Please staff. There are grocery stores nearby, cafes, donor for 7 lira literally on the next street. That's all the advantages. Now about sad: I don't recommend even one night because you can't sleep. Every chuck of neighbors, all conversations on the reception, street cats, passers-by, chicks... because noise isolation is the bottom level. More precisely, it is not at all, literally. The room is smoked, and didn't wind up even 4 days later. Cleaning is bad, in the room dirty windows, strange hair on the toilet, on the walls some drops.. holes in bed linen. From the window view to the roller. Neighbor houses are also a roller.
