The hotel is located in good area, near the metro and tram stations, also it is the only area stays open after 11pm in istanbul, The hotel has kind staff and nice view, but need a little bit more attention to cleanliness, especially floor cleanliness. Everything else is fine.

The location was great just a min walk to the tram station and about 5 mins walking distance to the ferries station and also to the main bus depot. Blue mosque and Hagia sophia are also within 10 mins walking distance. Many restaurants and bars around which are also open 24 hrs. Friendly staff and great service and we got a sea view room so overall a great stay.
Just the only downside was the wifi was really slow in our rooms as we were on the 5th floor.

Great hotel right in the "thick of it". Rooms are small but neat and well put together and comfortable. Above everything, seeing the guys at reception every day was a blessing -- they were super attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful about Istanbul. Be aware it's RIGHT in the happening part of Sultanahmet so there's a loud street below which we could still hear at night from the 6th floor, ie when a siren went off. Not an issue for us but something to know.
Overall we were very satisfied and would highly recommend!

A 10/10 hotel, rooms was very clean and looked great, location is amazing, breakfast was good, would definitely recommend this hotel, staff was very friendly, got our rooms cleaned every day, the lifts are very small wasn’t a problem for me but others might not like. definitely coming back, Thank you old port hotel

Hidden gem in a really nice location. Walking distance to many attractions. Small lobby and tiny elevator many not be convenient to handicap, but rooms are spacious compare to other hotels in the area. Modern looking rooms and bathrooms. Excellent service was provided for us specially from Cihan and Ibrahim. Will love to go back again

The Old Port Hotel is very well located in one the most animated districts of the city (Sirkeci). Rooms were very clean, Wi-Fi connection worked well and I had no issues. Staff were very friendly and they did their best to make guests happy. Breakfast is very good too and they offer even more than you guess. Main sights in Istanbul are very close to the hotel (Hagia Sophia or Suleyman Mosque, also transportation hub of Eminönu 5 minutes away). Very friendly receptionists, they help you obtain HES Code and Istanbul Card. Nice bathroom and airy and spacious room. Best option in Istanbul city center. I would be glad to come back again.
