I saw quite a mixed bag of reviews before I booked this place, but it was a positive surprise to me. First of all, you always have to compare with what the price was, and here, you get a mid-level hotel for a very modest price. It is true that the entrance to the hotel and the way to your room (I had to jump different bags of concrete and other obstacles😊) is not excactly the Hilton, but the room itself is tidy and functional. Great location close to restaurants and some of the big sights. Would not recommend for the ones with reduced mobility, as located at the bottom of a rather steep hill, but a good option for everyone else. Misses the last star due to a relatively hard bed, apart from this I recommend it!

New Year's Eve 2024 I had a week's holiday in Istanbul in this hotel I booked with my credit card with payment on arrival Some of the agents at the reception of this hotel found it and they took money from my bank account with the card that he used to make reservations in this hotel because he only used it in this reservation throughout Turkey (they call online fraud) he used my card to project it to other tourist facilities in Turkey, be careful, I'm a scammer

False advertisement on rooms. Pictures did not accurately depict actual rooms. Booked a delux room with a seaview, got a small room with a view of rooftops. Shower leaked constantly so water was all over the floor, mildew in shower, stains on the walls. Told the front desk about the leak. He didn't want to be bothered with anything. Booked it for a week, stayed for 3 nights. Manager would not allow refund. This was a very disappointing experience!

400 liras per night economy room. good price/quality ratio. Everything suited me, hot tea and water are always available, it’s quiet, except that there’s a mosque nearby) but I enjoy listening to prayer;) Beautiful terrace, tables. Minor flaws in the room, attributed to the good price. Date 12/22/23

The day shift staff helped us to sort out our flight issue, we really appreciated. Over all, all the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. It was quiet at night after 12 am, so you can have a good sleep. Good for money.

I bumped into with some of cat front of my room. My booking didn’t have breakfast but they served me completely of water or Turkish tea. But be careful when you’ll check in night time. Because you’d lost way to hotel. You have to walk alley and there’s so pitch dark.

Great local place to stay- close to everything in Sultanahmet area

Not a bad hotel, the main thing is to take higher rooms on the top floor, there is a sea view. I do not recommend rooms without windows on the first floor. The rooms are not ideal, they need to be renovated, but for us it was not critical, because we knew that it would be so. Especially picky recommend hotels more expensive!

Pros: clean at check in, quiet, close to our points of interest. Cons: toilet dripping, poor housekeeping, limited space, no self catering options, a few power cuts during our stay, only 1 towel per person provided.

I chose this hotel because it was cheap, in a great location and we had a long stay, not planning to spend much time indoors anyway as we are active holidaymakers. The room was as seen in advertising photos, but the outside courtyard is terrible, the reception area is small and messy, nobody was there at our arrival although we mentioned it previously (our flight was late), they eventually showed up after my partner made a few phone calls. There was only one(!) towel per person provided for everything (size between face towel and bath towel), no self catering options. After a week of not seeing any housekeeping done in our room, we asked for it and they did it, but we needed to leave the key, so we presume they don't have a spare key for housekeeping team and that's why they couldn't get in and clean as we were out and about all day. There were a few power cuts during our stay, the toilet was constantly dripping so we needed to close the pipes when it was not in use. There were a few positive aspects, such as quietness due to not being located on the main road, close proximity to all our point of interest and visit, safety for walking around, shops and restaurants nearby.

The staffs are very helpful. Location is perfect as it is near to everything.

I don’t know what kind of fussy people write negative reviews🤷‍♂️the price corresponds to the quality. Yes, no reshepn, so what. Our suitcases were taken to our room. The room is clean. For our five five nights there was one cleaning service. Shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer. There was no iron, but maybe in our room. And all this is nothing compared to the location of the hotel: Sultahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Ibrahim Pasha Palace, Hippodrome, Topkapi, Gulhane Park. Tram stop T1, where you can get wherever you want. Amazing! In the morning you leave and in the evening you come without feeling your feet. And what: upset because of the lack of reception!? I did not regret choosing the hotel.
