AHG Atlas Hotel Taksim

Taksim Istanbul|1.51km from Mixer
I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

Location is just 10 out of 5, in two steps all the sights. Clean, comfortable mattress. Full of normal breakfast. Yes, noisy, but it's the same central part of Galata. Near the port of Galata. Two steps tram stop. Welcome staff who didn't make us hysterical. Although the payment hasn't passed, and even asked if the transfer is needed and when we will arrive)

Book a top-floor suite. The room is large! The location is very good! Travel is very convenient. It is the downstairs bar street that the music is louder every night.

Exceptional staff. Incredibly helpful. Nothing to big of an ask. Very patient and generous. Location is fantastic. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Great buffet breakfast that offers so much that it cannot get repetitive if you stay long. Many Istanbul hotels have a small issue with bad odours coming up from the bathroom drainage and I'm quite sure there is not much they can do about it. It is only in the bathroom and only in the early mornings when the water works haven't been running. This should not put you off this wonderful hotel.

What to start with the points in favour is located in a fabulous place in Istanbul, silent at night, clean rooms, courteous staff. Points in the disadvantage do not close the door, it seems kept on by miracle there is nothing right throughout the room, numbers of the electrician still on the walls lines of measurements everywhere uncomfortable bed but for 3 days it is tolerable, The coat looked like one of those Chinese stress-free puppets (not the shape but the content). It's suitable for who like us has stayed for 3 days. But I'll never return to it again.

Excellent location in Beyoğlu centrally located, locals, restaurants, supermarkets. Well connected with all the great attractions (to reach Sultanahmet for example are about 10 minutes with Tram 1). The rooms are not large but clean and have all comforts developed on 4 floors (there is no lift to ask for accessibility information before booking). The friendly, professional and able to meet every need, have also given me many useful tourist indications. Excellent!

It's easy to get in and get a beautiful reception from all the staff, the hotel is beautiful and clean, its beautiful position from Port Cliff and close to the tram station and also the bus just five minutes walk, and also close to Modden Istanbul, and all the staff are wonderful without exception, I'll get back to the house again. This hotel.
