Booked this hotel for 4 nights as my daughter was getting married nearby and this was a good location and within our modest budget. We went half board and this was perfect for us. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly but communication could be better mainly because English was not predominately spoken. Unfortunately in April even though the temperature when we were there was 26degrees the hotel does not have air con on. Also local restaurants and attractions do not really open until May. However the outdoor and indoor pool was lovely with fresh towels available every morning from the indoor pool area and the entertainment was excellent and very enjoyable. If you are half board you only get tap water free with your meals at dinner. On the whole we had a pleasant stay and I would say this was more of a 3 star hotel it was tired in its decor but if you are out and about there is a bus stop outside the hotel and you get what you paid for and this was a cheap deal for us Some tips ask for extra milk/ teabags from the cleaners the milk pots are tiny in the room you need at least 2 for one cup Hairdryer is attached to the wall in the bathroom Don't forget your plug adapter for a 2 pin socket Also take ear plugs the hotel bedroom doors are loud when shut you hear everything not quiet at night

Family of 5 stayed for 10 nights. We had 2 rooms with side sea view. Rooms are spacious, modern with lovely balcony. Cleaned to high standard daily. I can't express how amazing our stay was. I knew from previous reviews it would be nice but it completely blew us away. The hotel is spotless. It has everything you could ask for. Gym, 25m covered swim pool and 25m outdoor pool. Children's pool. Plenty of showers at beach exit. Plenty of sunbed and loungers, beach towels and shop. The reception staff on arrival were so kind and helpful and throughout our stay. Breakfast was the best we have ever experienced and the staff so pleasant. The photos online do not do this hotel justice. The setup of sunbeds on a grassy area are well spaced out and plentiful, a great idea as the ground doesn't get hot. The hotel is situated right on Falaraki sandy beach which is fantastic. Beautiful clear blue water. You couldn't get closer. A special mention to the 3 staff in the hotel snack bar. The food here was so delicious. The best pizza and burgers in all of Rhodes. The staff here were so kind to us and work extremely hard in intense heat. Always a smile on their faces. I can't recommend this hotel enough. In our opinion 4* should be 5. Thank you to all the Apollo Beach Hotel staff for having us and well done on your beautiful hotel.

Just returned from Apollo Beach. Familly of 3, I have to say that IT was just the perfect Holiday! Very nice staff, from the receptionists to the cleaning personnel, always with a smile on their faces, ready to help You all the time The hotel is on the beach, with sunbeds on the grass ( interesting ). The food was amazing, there was always Something even for the pickyaste, full of taste and flavours. I recommend this hotel for the placement in the heart of Faliraki, the food, the staff, the cleaning, for everything. Just the perfect Holiday experience!

A great resort complex with big indoor pool and one outdoors as well. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Spacious room with refrigerator and hot pot. Some really good talent at the evening stage shows. An easy walk to a clean wide beach, passing a huge grassy sun tanning area that has a very good WiFi connection. Top notch breakfast buffet food and drinks (including proseco). There are tennis courts and it is a short walk to the ***** of stores and restaurants. Generous covered parking area too which was welcomed in the hot sunshine.

the cleaners were loud in the morning as they shouted to each other in the corridor. The rooms are poorly insulated against the corridor so was woken up by this two mornings.

We had a bit of a different start to our holiday than most, we had a terrible experience in another hotel which we stayed one night in (you can see the review in my profile) but Apollo Beach was there to save the day. We booked in with Apollo Beach online the morning after a nightmare stay at the other hotel at which point my partner phones to see if we can check in early for after explaining our situation and the man on reception was more than accommodating, they organised a taxi to bring us to the hotel after standing in the heat for hours with our suitcases. When we arrived at the hotel, we went to reception and the man on reception told us to leave our bags and go for food (All free) whilst he sorted our room so this was all fantastic and the room was sorted within about 30 mins. The room itself I thought was great, it had all everything you need a TV with some English channels, big bed, walk in shower and a great view from the balcony. Once sorted in our room we went down to the pool which isn't the biggest but does the job overall and there were always sun loungers available. There is a bar right beside the pool along with a stand for ice cream, pizza, crepes and a few other bits. If you have kids there is a baby pool with a park right beside it and I also believe they run a kids club. There are pool activities such as water aerobics everyday and also you are right on the beach which is filled with sun loungers if the pool isn't your vibe. There is entertainment most nights such as when we were there they had a Greek night with a Greek barbecue, an Abba night and an opera night which was all unreal. The bar was always very energetic at night with table service along with music playing. There is a small shop within the hotel which sells everything you could need at a reasonable price. The food was great at breakfast and at lunchtime we availed of the pizza station however dinner was probably the only downfall but I believe this is more on us than the hotel as the restaurant was full every night the food just didn't fit our taste but if this is the case for you do not worry as the hotel is a short walk from the main street which is full of restaurants and shops. All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we are even going back next year as we are getting married in Greece and have chosen to stay here for 2 weeks during this as we loved it so much.

Charming hotel with nice layout & pleasant feel about it it. Firstly be warned that if the older (grumpy) guy on reception checks you in then he’ll tell you you need to pay for WiFi when you DON’T most of the time if you’ve booked a package or all inclusive. Luckily a young girl corrected him so she stopped us as we were about to pay. THE HOTEL NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS I THINK. Food - Nice restaurant area with plenty of choice of good quality food at mealtimes. Lovely staff. Pool area has a open snack bar which serves freshly made pizzas & souvlaki. The lady there makes the best crepes, waffles, etc is just soo nice & friendly. Make sure you try them! Pool/garden bar - open til midnight with a good choice of cocktails & drinks which are of a good standard (especially the vodka which can be dire at some all inclusives). Did find a couple of the staff to be a bit abrupt & could ignore you at times if you were sat waiting for table service. Shame as most of hotel staff were lovely. Pool area - nice relaxing pool with easy access down to a great sandy beach. Sea was nice for a swim. Didn’t get deep quick & was calm during our stay. Loads of sun loungers on large grass area between pool & beach so no problem getting a lounger. Location - excellent, couldn’t be better. Walk out front of hotel down the long driveway & there are plenty of bars restaurants & shops. 10 mins walk on left takes you to Bar Street if you want a lively night out. We did - good fun (as it was slightly out of season so not full of kids like I expected!!) Summary: would recommend this hotel & if we go back to Faliraki we would stay here again, or possibly sister hotel Apollo Blue next door which also looked nice when we had a walk around.

Unfortunately this is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very tired and dated. Although staff were friendly enough, if you asked for anything at reception they’re not very welcoming. Hotel desperately needs modernising. Quite pricey considering it is nowhere near 4 star quality
