Booked the hotel for 2 nights, but was given a bigger room for the first night with 3 extra queen size beds. Could be a good/bad thing if you are a solo traveller.. nonetheless very good location and also near to the train station and the night market! Value for the money :)

The aunt who traveled to Taiwan alone for the first time in her life! One day stay in Kaohsiung! Destination Alishan! Poor Mandarin! Thank you to the Japanese and ********* beauty who works the morning service at the front desk for your great help! Guidance on how to get to and from Alishan and take the bus!
Shoufu is the right place for me! The location is clearly next to Liuhe Night Market, about a 5-minute walk! It is also next to the MRT subway (at Exit 11 of Formosa Island)
The location is very good. The room is tidy and very good. The breakfast is rich!

I booked the Hotel Bigang Xiziwan with great confidence, but the result was disappointing. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but I would like to sincerely remind netizens who book rooms online that not every room has a beautiful sea view, and there is a big difference between room 31 and room 14. No. 31 Shaochuan Street is farther away from the sea view, and the view is half blocked by the large white circular building of Shaochuantou Park. In addition, the closer the room is to the interior, the more likely it is to have a full sea view, but this cannot be determined from the online booking.
Take me for example. I was very happy to book a deluxe double room with sea view, but when I arrived at the 31st, I found that the room was not as big as I imagined, and the view outside the window was half blocked by Shaochuantou Park. After asking the front desk, I paid extra and moved to room 14 on the 5th floor. However, since it is a side room, the view is somewhat blocked by Shaochuantou Park. The room does not have a balcony, but it has a bathtub. When I asked if I could change to a room further inside? The answer I got was that I had to raise the price. So I can only suggest to friends who want to stay here that you'd better make sure your room has a full sea view, otherwise you will really spend a lot of money to be disappointed.
Another point is that the counter and the room are in different buildings, and the restaurant does not have an elevator, so you have to climb to the second floor by yourself. Not recommended for people with limited mobility or the elderly.

The hotel is a few hundred metres from Kaohsiung Station, so it's location is its selling point. The building is old with dated decorations, but everything worked. It is not terrible, but for me it is the type of hotel you book just to sleep one night and nothing more.

Location: About 7-8 minutes walk from the nearest MRT Cianjin Station. It's on the Orange Line, so you have to transfer from both the high-speed rail and the airport, which is a disadvantage. It faces a big street called Qixian 2nd Road. There is a 7-Eleven about 100m away, diagonally across from the intersection. It's about a 10-minute walk to the entrance to the other side of Liuhe Night Market. It's a distance that doesn't bother you if you're walking and looking around.
Room: It was clean. It's not spacious, but it's not cramped. There was a place to put your suitcase. The shower room was clean, but there was no partition between it and the toilet, so it got soaked. If you can't stand it, you should avoid it. Water pressure was OK.
TV: There were dozens of channels. You can watch not only ********* TV, but also sports, dramas, movies, etc.
Amenities: Two bottles of drinking water and tea bags are provided. For some reason, it was placed on a narrow stand together with the air purifier, making it even more narrow. Amenities such as toothbrushes and razors were available until the end of 2024 when I stayed, but they will be prohibited from January 2025, so please prepare your own.
Breakfast: Eat on the first basement floor. There are about 15 to 20 items in total. In addition to rice and porridge, there is a booth where you can make your own danzi noodles, which are warm. However, the other side dishes are not warmed. It would have been more delicious if they were warmer. There was also bread, although I did not eat it.
Other: I was given a coupon for two free cup ramen. In the space at the back of the first floor, coffee, tea, popcorn, cookies, buns, ice cream, etc. are provided free of charge. When I came back from dinner, I was surprised to see someone drinking alcohol (probably brought in) at a round table in that space, with the food provided as snacks.

The location is 300-400 meters from Qianjin subway station, 800 meters from Formosa Boulevard subway station, and about ten minutes' walk to Liuhe Night Market. It is about fifteen minutes’ walk from Sankuacuo Railway Station. Overall, the location is convenient.
The room is bright and clean. There is a free coffee machine and popcorn in the basement lobby. There are instant noodles and carbonated drinks in the room, which is quite thoughtful.

The room is big and the location is very good
The bed was great and the water pressure was great
Hygiene is no problem
The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and turning up the air conditioner didn't help.
I stayed for only three nights and the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke on two days.
My friend lives on the 5th floor and there is no cigarette smell.
I live on the 3rd floor. Let me give you a reference.

The location of the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung is better than the location of the Grand Hotel Taipei. Also, the view from the guest room at this hotel was better than the one that my parents got when staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The view at the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung faces the front of the hotel with trees and the water fountain. The view at the Grand Hotel Taipei was the parking lot. The subway is a bit far from the hotel. The room was quite big and the price was fine. Also, the room was clean and tidy.

The place is very affordable, accessible and easy to find. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. I love the cozy vibes and the swimming pool at rooftop is lit🔥. Slay✨! There is a nearby tourist night market and the train station is just a few minutes walk away. I also love the vegetable salad and other food served at the hotel’s free breakfast. I would highly recommend this place and definitely wanna come back 😉

The service is really good, staff are very friendly! Was skeptical at the beginning as it’s technically a 3 start hotel, but definitely better than some of the 4 start hotel service!

TTobias TI recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel located in close proximity to the airport during my trip to Taiwan. From start to finish, my experience at this hotel was exceptional!
Firstly, the hotel's convenient location near the airport made it an ideal choice for transit travelers like myself. The complimentary drop-off service provided by the hotel ensured a hassle-free journey to catch my flight. The efficient and timely transport service offered peace of mind, especially when dealing with early morning departures.
When it comes to service, the hotel staff truly went above and beyond. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly welcome. The reception staff were knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate individual needs were truly commendable.
Moving on to the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern, clean, and cozy ambiance. The well-appointed rooms were spacious enough to allow for a comfortable stay. The contemporary decor and tasteful furnishings added a touch of elegance to the overall experience. I particularly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and maintenance, as everything appeared to be in pristine condition.
The hotel's amenities further enhanced my stay. The comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep after a long journey, and the well-equipped bathroom had all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the complimentary Wi-Fi kept me connected to my loved ones and allowed me to catch up on some work during my stay.
To top it off, the hotel's dining options were delightful. The in-house restaurant offered a wide array of delicious local and international cuisine, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. The attentive and friendly staff made dining a pleasurable experience.
Overall, my stay at this Riverside hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of its convenient location, excellent service, and modern, clean, and cozy rooms made it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay near the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and impeccable service during their visit to Taiwan.

GGuest UserThe place is ok.
The staff is just ok, I can't say they are too good either.
They have a non-sense pedantic rule that you must collect your dishes and put them in a tray place. I felt like I am in McDonalds or in a trashy human factory. Meanwhile the staff are sitting doing nothing.
As a guest, when I go to a hotel I want to relax, I have enough with tidying up and cleaning things at home, the least thing I want at a hotel is doing the same.
Breakfast itself is ok but milk tea is EXTREMELY sweet and no milk tea option without sugar so if you do not wanna get diabetes type B you won't be able to enjoy breakfast. The rest is mostly very high carbs suggary or fried fatty stuff except a small salad buffet and scrambled eggs. There was no coffee during my stay as coffee machine was broken so cannot rate it.
Checkin should be conveniently done with a kiosk downstairs but when I came it was broken too.
The place feels comfortable and private.
Water has only BOILING HOT water. So it does not have a mixer so you can shower for the first minute, then water is boiling super hot and there is no way to mix it up with cold water or make temperature cold down. It is funny cause travelling around the world I found some countries where it is difficult to get hot water but first time in my life finding a hotel where it is difficult to get cold water.
Location is just ok, it is a bit far from MRT but most staff is nearby.

GGuest UserThis hotel is simple and located on the 11th floor of a building that is shared with 5 other ”hotels” on other floors, but I loved the beautifully immaculate and modern rooms. For its price (~$60/nt), the room (I sprang for the Exquisite room) is spacious, well-designed with plenty of natural lighting from a corner unit facing the funky, cool shaped Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal and I LOVE the restroom with a washlet!! and stone shower tiles, equipped with a 55” Google TV and preloaded movies / casting capabilities and general TV that made for great entertainment. The location is stellar (only a 3 mins walk from the R8 station ~ take exit 1... don't listen to Google Maps' instruction 😅) and it is hard to go wrong with the included hot breakfast + 24h snax in the lobby with the wonderful service from the entire staff as a cherry on top. It made working from this hotel for the past five days so delightful.
and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though there are 5 lifts that move quickly.
The only (and very minor; read: nit-picky) downside is that the building houses 5 ”hotels” on other floors and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though with the 5 lifts that move quickly, I haven't had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes to get into the next available elevator.
Already looking into the Hub Hotels in Taipei when I return next year!

@@Ann _SangleyI like breakfast it has a wide variety of choices. The rooms are small but comfortable.I just hope they still put a tooth brush and toothpaste for free. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is perfect for going around and easy access to the train station and Uber. The Rent Car is also just beside the hotel. Near Mc Donald's, KFC and 7-11. Thanks.Airline Inn.

GGuest UserThe location is awesome - right opposite the Kaoshiung Main Station. It makes a lot of places convenient for us to travel to. I also feel that for the price paid, the hotel room is great enough (space, comfort of bed, cleanliness, etc). Things to improve can be more receptive responses from the receptionist and better breakfast options.

GGenevieveThe location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

GGuest UserThere was a candy bag in the corner of the room that was not cleaned up. The space for the 4-person room was not very large and you had to find a parking lot by yourself. Although there was a parking subsidy of 120 yuan, I parked from 3 pm to 9 am the next day and the parking fee was 420 yuan, which was actually quite The air outlet of the expensive air conditioner is designed strangely. The bed under the air outlet is very cold, but the other bed is very hot and I can't feel the wind. The advantage is that it is very close to Qianjin MRT Station. It takes less than 3 minutes to walk to the MRT station. The overall quality of Pier 2 can only be described as average

台台南阿德The aunt at the counter was very nice and helped us with many introductions. She also helped us upgrade to a corner window room. Overall, we had a very clear view of the land and sea, the Kaohsiung Central Park Christmas tree, and the Yinxi drone. If the toilet could be larger, Really perfect❤️
