very helpful staff right across thehotel . Staff very quick to respond to requests with what seemed to be a genuine feeling to please.Bedroom / bathroom were really good.

We first visited Headford Arms about 5 years ago and loved it so much we returned twice more and after that we visited with friends and family several times. Our friends now regularly visit with us and with other we r friends and love this family run hotel for it's customer service, lovely rooms and especially the food, can't fault the food ever. We brought a few family members for a gathering and they also loved it and visited again a couple of times. My only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that three is no air-con in roomsch I need this time of year, although my friends were ok with just the fan provided.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. It was a very relaxing break and the food was delicious. The spa treatments were excellent. Definitely will return and have recommended it to friends.

A short break driving from KK to cavan and took the opportunity to rest and recuperate on the way home. Delighted to see your spa and speak to Emma.

The staff at the Headfort Arms Hotel are so good and professional & the best I've ever seen. We had my brother's wedding at the Headfort Arms Hotel and my god the staff are out of this world. They made our 3 day stay so relaxing and enjoyable. In my opinion this is a hotel of Excellence!

We only stayed here one night but the room was very comfortable and the staff were great. The attached Celtic Bar was great for a drink and also the bar where the breakfast was served. Parking was at the rear of the property which was busy but there was a wedding being held there that day.

We too advantage of an excellent offer from Headfort Arms Hotel which included, dinner, B&B and two spa treatments and we came away delighted. Although only a one night break it felt longer and was very relaxing and we were made to feel really welcome and at home. The lounge is perfect for a lazy afternoon and the dinner was delicious. Can highly recommend a stay in this wonderful hotel with a hugely local and vibrant feel.

Overall very good, just thought service was slow in the restaurant. But good value and will stay again

Family members bday we booked 5 rooms, dinner for 10 in keltic bar but ended up being seated wrongly in the vanilla pod overheard staff speaking about me giving out. One room had a dangerous spring sticking out of the toilet flush button so toilet didn’t flush thankfully we had other rooms and only stayed one night

I was excited to start when we first walked in. The staff was friendly. We got to our room and there was a 20 degree difference from the hallway. It was SO HOT in the room and the windows barely opened. It had been a nice day, but I have no idea how the room for so warm. The room was also very dirty. The towels looked like they had not been changed the previous guests. They were hung up haphazardly and half had makeup and other stains. The coffee cups had paper coasters that were also stained and water marked. Not the worst but a bit gross. I was most disappointed with breakfast the next day. We were checking out around 10 and knew we missed the included breakfast but the girl checking us out asked if we had breakfast and told us to go to the connected cafe so we did. We’re the only people there and they were cleaning up but didn’t say we couldn’t eat there. I ordered eggs on toast and my partner got French toast. They also said we could have anything from the buffet, but took it down 5 minutes after. My partners French toast was literally just toast with syrup all over it. They gave me a tiny piece of half of one baguette, a pile of dried out eggs and a pile of overcooked bacon. I was not happy. The girl at the front desk who told us to come there for some reason became our waitress and I asked her for more toast because I hardly got any. She had a huge attitude about it then brought me 8 slices of cold toast. It was just bad and her attitude really upset me. We couldn’t understand why she told us to go there and then was angry at us since they were clearly trying to close.

Headfort Arms provides comfortable, clean accommodations, is beautifully decorated and provides a wonderful breakfast. We had plenty of room, hot water and restful sleep. Steep stairs to the 1st floor is the only complaint.

Warm friendly welcome, beautiful gardens to sit in the sun. Food is always great. Staff are so helpful... lovely clean, warm rooms. Breakfast is lovely!

Third visit to this hotel stopping to break the journey further south and yet again everything A1. The staff are fantastic the room very clean and comfortable. Had an evening meal in the lounge which was outstanding value for money as was the breakfast. Will definitely be booking to stay on our next trip

Lovely Hotel. Excellent food and breakfast was really nice. We attended a family wedding and the staff were absolutely amazing. So helpful. Great location and the rooms were lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.
