This was the perfect place to stay in Kinsale. Directly on the harbour with beautiful views, walking distance to virtually all of Kinsale. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable. Plenty of free parking, a rarity in Ireland. And the breakfast was delicious.

Fabulous location and hotel rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We paid for a harbour view which was definitely worth it. Staff were extremely welcoming, breakfast was great and easy parking if you have a car. All in all a great stay

Fantastic hotel. Stayed as a family with a baby over Easter. The rooms were beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and served in a lovely setting. All staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We have already stayed here a few times over the years and will certainly return! It would be great to make the bar a little more inviting for an evening drink by dimming the lights and perhaps some music. Overall a fantastic hotel and a favourite of ours!

We had a nice stay at Actons. We stayed in the family room. The second bed is a sofa bed and it is extremely uncomfortable. I would beg the hotel to upgrade the room to having a second bed instead of the sofa bed. Given the layout of the room, it can accommodate the second bed easily. The room was quiet and clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were lovely. Beware that the hotel’s car park is not large and the spaces are very tight.

We stayed for a couple of nights for a special birthday. We were greeted with treats in the room for the occasion. We were able to check in early. The room was spacious & beautifully decorated, comfy beds, good shower & spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The bar area was very comfortable. Location was ideal.

Lovely 3 night stay at Acton's Hotel. Room spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and pillows. Beautiful view out of the window. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very good, we had breakfast and one night a meal in the bar. I would recommend this hotel.

A magnificent stay at Actons Hotel Kinsale. My husband and I visited Kinsale in January of this year and stayed at this full-amenity property for three nights. We received an upgrade to a beautiful room. The staff could not have been more accommodating, and I would unequivocally recommend Actons Hotel Kinsale to discriminating clients seeking clean, upscale and full-amenity lodging.

Stayed here for a wedding in March 2024, wonderful venue and great staff, special mention to the bar manager Dan on duty the night of, who went the extra mile to get a whiskey connoisseur his preferred beverage! A great night ! Highly recommended A++++

Excellent location, friendly staff. Rooms spotless & spacious, waterfall shower was lovely. Nice pool & generous size jacuzzi. We had great massages. Excellent selection for breakfast plenty to choose from. Bar food looked good👍Will definitely return
