Find Split Hotels with Kitchens

"Marko at Croparadise was exceptionally helpful and kind. Give him a raise! He made our check-in effortless and answered all our questions knowledgeably. The location is a 5 minute walk from the center of town and our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, as was the adjoining bathroom. We theoretically had to share with the other rooms in the suite, but we never saw anyone else for the bathroom or kitchen. We were only there overnight, not a prolonged stay, but it was everything we needed for a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay there again and would highly recommend it to everyone looking for a clean, affordable place very near the center of Split. Again, a big thanks to Marko who also went to great lengths to retrieve a couple of items we left behind."

"The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel "

"The location is excellent! Safe and comfortable, and the staff are very welcoming. However, I should suggest that people smoking on the balcony close the door, otherwise the smoke will drift into the kitchen. Also, the sofa covers in the living room are quite greasy and should be washed."

"Location was good as not far from the main train and bus station. Good communication beforehand from the manager asking me when I would be arriving and then providing details of the apartment and that it would be open with the key inside, so all worked well there. For a self catering style apartment no cooking facilities not a problem just thought there might be some, fridge, crockery and kettle in the room which were all good. Plenty of towels and bedding left for my stay. One thing was there was no communication about how to check out."

"There was no staff at the apartment when we arrived and no one contacted us beforehand about how to check in. We called several times before someone answered. In addition, the hotel's location and sanitary environment are good"

"This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Croatia! There’s plenty of space to unpack, and it’s close to the Old City. My luggage was quite heavy, and when I asked, they kindly moved me from a third-floor room to a first-floor one. I didn’t know breakfast was included, but they even provide a simple one. It really feels like they understand and care for solo travelers. The hostel was so nice that I decided to stay an extra night — thanks to you, I had a great rest!"

"Great location. Small room with little privacy unless you keep curtains closed. No clothing rack provided thus swimsuits takes ages to dry. Can be noisy when youngsters return from party after midnight but this applies to all apartments in old town."

"At first glance, it may be difficult to find because it looks like an ordinary house. When you contact the hotel receptionist, you will reply as soon as you contact him by email. And the facilities and amenities were very substantial. In addition to the TV, there was a refrigerator, air conditioner, bath towels, and shampoo, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. It was very good from transportation because there is a hotel within walking distance from the tourist spots in the city. I want to stay for a long time next time."

"The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was only a short 10min walk from the bus terminal through the main market area and there were also restaurants 1 min walk in a cosy square. The views from the apartment were amazing!! Marijana was wonderful in accommodating our last minute booking and really helpful showing us the apartment and map and tips for finding restaurants and landmarks. Thank you 😊"
