Such a lovely place to stay- the rooms were all of a good size and very clean and comfortable. There are wonderful views out from the balcony over Knysna lagoon and the beautiful gardens below. We would definitely book again if we were visiting Knysna.

Overall a great stay with an amazing view. Very friendly hosts. Highly recommended. It would have been great to have a laundry machine, as our stay was for two weeks. Would also suggest that fresh towels be provided more often. Otherwise no complaints! Wonderful accomodation for six persons, think it will be a bit crowded for any more if staying more than a couple of days. (Sleeps max 8.)

Beautiful place that was exactly as promised. However I feel saying it not really a beach front kinda view, non the less loved the space of the villa. The place offers tranquility and a profound atmosphere that takes you out of the business and envelopes you in calmness.

BigTree House Lodge is a good Lodge. It is clean. The owners are very frendly and kind. Also the people in the garden. The garden is very beautiful with many different plants. Unfornately the electricity box in the room maken a lot of noise.

We enjoyed 3 very comfortable days and nights at Big Tree House. Everything we needed was provided. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. What made the stay exceptional was the fantastic view over the Knysna Lagoon to the Heads. Thoroughly recommended.

The lodge was ideal for our family of 10, the chalets were clean, comfortable, great amenities and a fabulous view. The gardens surrounding the chalets are beautiful. Owner Henriette was a great host.

Very cozy and spacey lodge with fantastic views to the lagoon. Safe property including own parking lot. Our host Henriette was very kind and helpful. We forgot something in the house and Henriette was so kind to send it to our home address. Thank you so much!

We stayed in one of the beautiful log houses for the weekend, the house is well equipped with everything you need. Sitting on the patio in the morning listening to the many birds whilst watching the amazing view of the Knysna lagoon is pure bliss. The hosts are amazing and the staff are very friendly. We had a great time and got to catch up on some much needed RandR.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. Not only was it spacious, neat, comfortable and had everything we needed and more, the view was unmatched. Will definitely stay here again without a doubt!
