The hotel is really big and just about every room can see the sea. The good, really clean and the breakfast is ok, it’s the same every morning, eggs, some sort of sausage, smoked bacon etc. The grounds are clean, except round the pool are. We went out most evenings on the way back we walked through the pool area, there would be rubbish and uncollected bar glasses left about. The pool area is not big for the size of the hotel, there is a large garden area you can use. The bar is expensive… there is a little shop near the hotel entrance, get your beer there. You will struggle to find English tv in your room. The rooms were big enough for two and a full bath. This hotel is a good 40 minute walk away from Kos town, at a slow walk. If you’re not a walker and want to be close to town don’t stay here .

Lovely hotel and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Really nice people. Went with my teenage daughter for October half term. The weather was fab 26 degrees plus most days we were lucky. . The hotel was clean, fresh towels and sheets every day. The half board food was good. There was a range of breakfast cereals, Greek yoghurt, fruits, bread and a selection of processed meats, cheese etc I had a cooked breakfast every morning. Plus fruit. The evening meal catered for everyone. So there would be something there that someone would like. We went on a 3 island tour from Koz harbour and went to also watch the sunset at Zia. The hotel is well located across the street from a shingle beach which was lovely and very picturesque which also had a wheelchair ramp into the sea. There is also a marina opposite with lovely cafes and restaurants. Koz Harbour in the town is walkable approx 20 minute stroll. We walked there and back most nights for two weeks. When it wasn’t hot! It was lovely and breezy at night but not cold. Nearby restaurants to the hotel which were not all open as end of the season but there is a bicycle shop and supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel pool snack bar was excellent. For burgers, salads, gyros, chips, drinks etc and reasonably priced. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Very chilled out hotel environment. I had read all bad reviews before going and to be honest I can only say that the hotel was clean, well maintained with very hard working and loyal staff that have been working there for years and n the busier months there is entertainment provided in the evening.

Very impressive hotel, fantastic staff. Very very clean and comfortable, very high standards. Staff lovely and friendly, went the extra mile to help when I thought I had lost my wallet. I would have given 5 stars, but the meals were a little disappointing, buffet service being what it is, the menu’s got to feel a bit “samey”. Hotel is in a lovely position next to the yacht marina, just a 15 minute stroll from the beautiful old historic town of Kos. Regular bus service to town, practically outside the hotel. All in all a lovely hotel, well worthy of the stars.

The hotel was a little dates but comfortanble. Staff outstanding and couldn't do enough. Food was basic but plenty of choice from salads and cooked fare evenings to choice of cereals, cooked or continental breakfast. Also had waiter service snack bar around the pool! 15 minute walk into In s town along the water front, bus service or taxi(7euros) if you prefer! Special mention to Anneka behind the bar. Always helpful and smiling no matter what the crap she sometimes had to put up with. On my list of hotels to go back to!

We were expecting this hotel to be very basic , but was happy to find it a clean and comfortable hotel with a large swimming pool lovely gardens , however not all the staff were warm and welcoming but the reception girls were especially Irene who went above and beyond to help in anyway she could . The poolside taverna /cafe served delicious food at reasonable prices , the staff in there were lovely too ! you cant expect too much from a 3 star hotel but I think it’s a very good one

Me and my partner just been there 11/09-20/09 and we absolutely loved it!rooms are nice and spacious…mattresses are a little hard but I had no problem with that. Our air conditioner didn’t work properly first night so reception changed our rooms no problem!if you are proper British (like my partner) and not very adventurous with food you might be limited on food on half board basis, but me personally being Eastern European I loved it!!!town is only 15min walk if you don’t get distracted by shops and marina and taking lots of pics lol STAFF!!!can’t praise them enough!!!we loved everyone we came into contact with (housekeeping ladies very nice and respectful of our belongings, reception staff great (and they like sweets 😉) , bar staff is a whole new level!!!looked after us, knew what we liked after second night, great advice on where to go for certain meals and drinks and things to see (Nichos (not sure if spelling is right) you are amazing!) guys at the restaurant and the pool bar are lovely!) we have been together just over 4 years and it was our first holiday together due to covid and stuff, but you guys made it very special and memorable to the extent that we are coming back to stay with you next year!thank you sooo much for looking after us!sincerely Inga ( the Russian) and Paul (the Viking)

I shake my head in disbelief of some of the awful reviews I've had the misfortune to read.Did they actually stay at the same hotel?? This is a 3.5 star hotel not a 5 star and I think it was very good value for the money. Yes the rooms are a little dated but comfortable and roomy and clean as was all the areas of the hotel.you could not fault the cleanliness of this hotel.Breakfast extremely good and plentiful lots of choice.Evening meal was good enough for the extra little money for half board we chose to eat both out and in the hotel some evenings. As for the pool area not having rubbish collected or glasses cleared at the end of the day is absurd it was cleaned every night.the pool was lovely to swim in and the pool area spacious and clean.good food at the pool bar too and reasonable priced. The staff at reception were amazing especially Irene who always had time for us and so knowledgeable and gave us some good tourist tips. It was our wedding anniversary during our holiday and the hotel went all out there were swan towels and rose petals on the bed and pink roses in a vase and then fresh fruit and wine was delivered as well.thankyou so much contential Palacel. There was entertainment every night not always to our taste but entertainment nevertheless. The only thing I could say could be improved is the shower needs a proper wall fixture as it kept falling down but the water was always hot.I believe that they are going to refurbish the hotel in the next year. The hotel is in a great location only 15 minutes walk into Kos town and opposite the marina and beach and there are plenty of tavernas and the buses are regular into Kos town and Therma.whoever said its a 40 minute walk must have walked at a snails pace! as it really isn't that far and I broke my back two years ago and could manage the walk no problem. Overall we liked Kos and the Continental Palace and would love to return in the near future.

We had a great holiday. We had room 119 which was clean tidy and comfortable. We read some of the previous reviews and ignored them. We believe in seeing for ourselves. The room was great. We didn't eat at the hotel as we went out every day. We used the bar which the staff were 1st rate. The front of house staff did a great job. The hotel is in a good location for kos town. We had a excursion to zia which I recommend. So we had a great holiday in a great hotel. If you go there give it a chance and don't go by the negative reviews.

Without exception all the staff at the hotel are friendly and hard working. The hotel is basic but to be fair it's a 3 star and all areas including the bedrooms are cleaned every day. The pool is good and there are plenty of sunbeds around it and located in the adjacent gardens. The hotel is ideally situated close to a marina and beach. It is around a 20 minute walk into Kos Town, which is beautiful. The food is of a general standard for a 3 star buffet and each evening the menu varied. The reason I only gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the air-conditioning is only working in the bedrooms. It was uncomfortable in the dining room and bar areas at times due to the heat.
