Kunmin Xiangmei Bangpo Hotel

The hotel is very close to Cuihu Park, the Old Street, Yuantong Mountain (for cherry blossoms), and Kunming Railway Station, making city travel very convenient. It's also about 11km from Haigeng Dam, which is great for seeing seagulls. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – the most comfortable sleep I had on this trip. The service was warm and attentive. It's located on a slope in a small alley with small restaurants nearby. You can hear them calling out numbers during meal times 😂, but otherwise, it's quite quiet. The Yunnan 'xiaoguomixian' (small pot rice noodles) was pretty good, but each restaurant prepares it differently, so it's a bit of a gamble.

Located in the old town, the room was better than expected – mainly clean and convenient. The surrounding streets don't have tall buildings, so it was very quiet at night. The landlady was enthusiastic, and the staff were also good. Plus, our child unexpectedly fell ill and had to go to the hospital (which was only a 100-meter walk, very convenient) for an IV drip. We had to delay our check-out by an hour, but they didn't charge any extra fees for it. Thumbs up! 👍

Great location! The room decor is elegant, the only downside is the bathroom is a bit small. Facilities: Everything is great except for the small bathroom! Environment: Very good and quiet. It's very close to Cuihu Park, Yuantong Temple, and Kunming Old Street, making it super convenient for getting around.

Tucked away in a quiet alley, this hotel offers a serene environment with lush greenery and flowers. It's truly a rare find to get a relatively affordable hotel when Kunming is bustling with tourists. The room and facilities, however, are quite basic. The shower/toilet area is quite small and faces the bed. The laundry area is also very rudimentary, but the large terrace offers a great view. Overall, it's an average stay, but it was clean. The complimentary breakfast is served next door, but if you wake up late, there won't be much left.

This one-bedroom apartment layout is clean and spacious. It's a short walk to Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street. We even took shared electric scooters to Southwest Associated University and Yunnan University, having a great time exploring along the way.

The location is super convenient, very close to Kunming Old Street and Cuihu Park. Breakfast is at the snack shop next door, the rice noodles are pretty good, but quite simple. The apples from the fruit stand at the alley entrance are delicious!
