Overall Experience (9.5/10) Our stay in Kyoto was wonderful, and I’d highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It has a private, calm, and clean atmosphere. Most of the staff were very professional and provided excellent service. I’ll definitely come back next time. What I Liked the Most • Exceptional Soundproofing: During our two-night stay, we never heard any noise from the neighboring rooms—not even the sound of running water, which I often encounter elsewhere. As a hypersensitive person, this was the feature I appreciated the most. • Great Amenities & Meals: The evening meal service was fantastic. We really enjoyed the free snacks, wine, and the late-night Ochazuke. It was a very lovely and thoughtful touch. Areas for Improvement The only downside was a new male staff member who pretended he never received our iron rental request. This specific interaction made me feel a bit discriminated against. Final Verdict Otherwise, it would have been a perfect experience. If this service issue is addressed, this hotel is truly a gem in Kyoto.

This is the second time we select this hotel. Although the hotel is not a big one, it gives us a homely feel with handwritten messages and introduction of good scenic spots and restaurants nearby. There is a small lounge with books and comfortable chairs to sit around and relax. The restaurant, though only provide breakfast to the guests, would also provide free drinks, coffee and food at different hour of time. Hotel staff are very polite and helpful to entertain our requests. Sometimes, they are very busy but they know how to support each other with good team spirit. Below is my small suggestions and see if you would consider to improve: - replace the reusable slippers to disposable ones for hygienic considerations - add small rack or more hooks at the bathroom to place the clothes and stuff - to have one more foldable luggage rack placing inside the room In general, we are very satisfied with your facilities and services and will come again.

We love the hotel. Location is not far from all the attractions. Very quiet. Service is excellent. Up to our expectations. We will come back again next time and would recommend to others as well.

Stayed before, love to stay again and again. The room is quite spacious and the location conveniently located near Nishiki Market. If you are booking here, this restaurant 2min away from hotel is worth trying. This is amazingly delicious.
