I really like this hotel and this is my second stay here. The staff were very helpful, especially with assisting in sending my luggage. The breakfast was very delicious and filling.

1. Hotel and room - spacious, very nice place, enjoyed the hall atmosphere, the room design with high coloured ceilings, beautiful bathroom. Everything very clean. 2. Breakfast. Delicious but rather same daily. Pay attention it’s traditional japanese bento box, not european style. 3. Location. Nice, near the bus stop that gets u to Gion or Kyoto station directly.

Facilities are fine. But without face mask like previous hotel that I stayed at. The location of the hotel is a bit far from center of kyoto which takes 15 - 20 minutes to be there. Anyways, overall score for the hotel is still high since the staff are nice and polite, the breakfast I enjoyed is good!

I totally love this place! If you book the room with the panoramic view, you won't regret it! Love the fact that you see not only concrete jungle but mounts and forest too. The hotel is a bit far from the main touristic street but it's pretty close to the bus stop. As always in Japan, it's clean. However, keep in mind that the breakfasts are completely in Japanese style, so we had to eat somewhere else.

Good location, bout 10-15mins walk to JR station and Nishiki Market. Great place to stay for Comics lover

1. It is a private bathroom and the description is misleading 2. Basically all travel items are provided (facial cleanser, lotion and so on 3. The washing machine is fully functional Empty machine pre-washing, washing and drying integrated fully automatic, washing machine automatically puts laundry detergent, the price is not expensive, 400-500 once 4. All the clerks are very polite 5. The bento is a bit boring, so you don’t need to buy breakfast 6. The air conditioner in the room is super fast, with air purifier and fresh spray 7. There is a special person button in the elevator 8. Downstairs is a convenience store, a station and a car rental company (Toyota) 9. Not in the downtown area, there is a living market next to it, and it is also close to Nijo Castle, suitable for strolling 10. Walking along the road to Karasuma Oike, there are many small shops suitable for eating and drinking

I really loved this hotels vibe. They were very polite and friendly. Please do read the details though as the staff experienced a rough time with other travellers who did not. There is a city tax, it isn’t a lot but it’s not included in your bill as it is not a hotel charge. The only thing I didn’t love was the shower head kept turning away and my friends room was next to the elevator that goes on all night. More sound proofing required. However, as far as location goes it was great. Easy to get to Kyoto station from there. A 40 minute walk to Gion district that turned into two hours as it took us through the shopping streets. Pokémon and Nintendo stores on the same street.
