The whole staff at the Vanderbilt were extremely hospitable and made us feel like family! The hotel and its experiences were quite memorable! Would definitely recommend, and make sure to speak with the lead concierge, Morgan, ahead of time to plan your stay in Newport -- 10/10 itinerary.

Very unique. Like a small home with staff. All the people were helpful and friendly. Great location with walkable restaurants and shops. We plan to return to Newport and will definitely stay there again.

These unforgettable 3 days at The Vanderbilt were an absolutely marvelous experience, which made me recharge and feel as if I had a week-long vacation at the seaside. This little Mother's Day getaway was a true blessing for me as a working mom, loving wife and simply a modern woman. Professional, helpful and the most friendly. We all know this is not always like this with luxury services, but here it was heartfelt and sincere.

The location of the hotel can’t be beat! Walked to all dining and shopping. Staff is so friendly and helpful!! The hotel is really charming with a relaxed elegance. The historic building fits the area so well.

The mansion has been beautifully restored, the staff go out of their way to make your experience memorable and the food is delicious

We came for a girls' weekend, and everything was amazing. Location is perfect. The hotel staff are warm, friendly and polite. The spa amenities are on point. The rooms are absolutely lovely & impeccably clean. There is absolutely not one thing I could improve about this hotel and the people who care for it. Well done, Auberge. Well done.

Very well trained and hospitality focused staff. Every person we came in contact with was focused on making our stay enjoyable, Particularly Brooke (front desk), Mitch (valet/bell hop) and Morgan (head concierge). They succeeded! A nice rooftop bar for seeing the sunset.Great restaurant. Inn is very clean. Liked the free champagne tower on Friday night;.

A hotel so beautiful and run so skillfully it's easy to spend your whole vacation within the confines of the building. The staff is lovely: everybody, from general manager to valet staff couldn't be warmer and more helpful. Coffee and tea (even oat milk!) await guests in the morning, and anything you need (within reason, of course) is speedily addressed. Every day a joy.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing ! You could not ask for a better staff! From the front desk , door man , house cleaning , very professional and welcoming ! We stayed 4 days and it was perfect ! Heated indoor pool and sauna was amazing , the warm atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and the cocktails are on point .. different lounges to sit and relax and pass the time away ,location for Newport was perfect and very easy parking

Only hotel in Newport with a two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a beautiful spa and a fabulous concierge. The Vanderbilt is a great choice if you are seeking impeccable service, old-world glamour and luxury.

Take the vintage car tour to drive by the warfs, ocean drive (scenic coast) and mansions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was great at The Vanderbilt.

I’ve been here a few times in the last year and always enjoy the super kind staff, amazing food and beautiful decor. They really go above and beyond to make me feel taken care of. I’m always sad to leave.

I loved my stay at this historic hotel in downtown Newport. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to our room. We even received some history from the General Manager. Breakfast was great and the hotel is just warm and welcoming! The mattress is one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have ever slept on!
