Courtyard Lake George

Beautiful location directly across the street from Lake George. Bar, restaurant, pool and free parking available behind the hotel. My room was a 2 bedroom and 2 bath with a pull out couch and a balcony with high top furniture. Excellent facilities and the staff were very helpful. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. No complaints about my room as it fit a family of four no problem. I was attending a wedding and they accommodated my family with an early check in at 1pm with no additional cost. A definite must when visiting Lake George NY.

We loved the location, facilities and the view.👍👍👍 But the food? Lol, we booked our stay for just 1 night with breakfast for 5 people but when we were in the lobby the staff told us that no breakfast was included even after showing him our receipts and emails that stated that we paid for our stay with breakfast. We ended up paying for our own breakfast. 👎👎👎👎👎

Very clean friendly staff beautiful view

We had several broken items in one of the rooms and we did alert the front desk to prevent any further issues at checkout. Our first night in the hotel was good, but on Friday after our family checked in to our second booked room, the experience got much worse. My sister requested additional bedding and pillows to accommodate her four person family. The rooms we booked were listed as having full sized pull out beds but they were twin sized. The mattresses had mold and stains on them so we requested a roll away, which they don’t have. Our solution to ask for sheets to cover the dirty pull out mattresses and enough pillows to allow for one per person were not unreasonable yet we were not granted that request without being treated poorly and rudely. Upon checking out, we alerted the front desk to an issue which was extremely unsettling and unsanitary and they offered us a complementary cup of coffee. We were willing to look past the previously mentioned issues but a dirty pair of women’s underwear left in the closet shows a lack of regard for cleanliness and customer service when we informed them of the issue. All of the issues we had could have easily been solved but instead the hotel chose to do nothing for us. Their lack of regard for us put a massive damper on our trip and made our stay extremely uncomfortable.

This is a good place to stay I gave it three stars because of the restaurant on premises. The food is terrible. Probably if you order a burger and fries and drinks might be ok. But the menu is so appealing until the food is served. The risotto I’m as sorry to say, looked like a fake Halloween food, I really don’t want to use the world that comes to mind. Terrible. The rice with seafood had a disgusting brown sauce, the salmon was un-eatable over cooked with a gooey sauce that looked like fave vo….. I am willing to pay for good food but I am never, ever eating anything here when we come back. Someone needs to do something about the chef- cook it really really was that bad. The hotel is good otherwise. Great parking, spotless clean great service.

We enjoyed our stay very comfortable and clean. We came once prior to Lake George over 7 yrs ago. We were celebrating our birthdays together, my husbands was Jan 5 th and mine Jan 6th. The only down fall was we had to wait for our room, even booking it ahead months ahead didn’t matter. This would be our first time to wait for a room. We browsed around and had a drink at the bar and the guy at the desk gave us a parking pass while we waited. All good otherwise we will stay again.

Room was perfect. Very large with another room with a seperate Tv and a beautiful spacious balcony. Room was very clean It can be very loud but that’s ok

No complementary coffee in the lobby for guests. I found this extremely annoying and short-sighted on the part of management. Preparing coffee in the room is not a suitable alternative.
