Nice room and comfortable bed and pillows. Good selection of breakfast items. Only complaint is the bathroom sink is really tall. I’m 5’1” and it came up to the bottom of my chest.

Don't know how this place can be a Holiday Inn. This brand should be so embarrassed by this place. They say a heated pool on the website, totally lies. My kids stepped in and it was freezing cold. Bath tub was nasty and dirty, this place is so run down. Addressed issues with heavier set manager and she was so rude and smelled so bad. Lack of personal hygenine of her definately shows how disgusting this motel was

Always happy to stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Grateful for the breakfast that seems to satisfy most needs. Especially pleased that beverages and some snacks are available throughout the day. Although I would not buy frozen dinners for meals, having this convenience available is a life saver when restaurants are too crowded or unavailable.

This a nice gem right in the middle of Lapeer. Room had nice black out blind as most rooms face either the street or parking lot. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Room had small fridge, microwave and a Keurig. Book your stay, all things were positive here.

We drove off the Interstate to get this hotel after seeing the sign on the highway. We were looking for an IHG property & it was getting late... After a long day driving we were ready for food & sleep. My husband was greeted by "Kirk" who was personable and friendly. It was very apparent that the hotel was under renovations. After talking with Kirk who was aware that we were needing to stop for the nite...he offered us a room (King) at our request....the room was clean & still in the midst of being renovated but we were content with our room overall for the one nite. Kirk was very hospitable & concerned that our stay would be comfortable. Our breakfast was the standard hotel offering ...one exception we enjoyed very much the updated milk containers that were available...not the usual waxed carboard boxes...excellent! Good luck with the renovations & the future of the property!

The facility was clean, but a bit old and tired. The tub had been cleaned so many times, that it had lost its finish and was "raw" in several places. Overall, the carpets are worn and it needs a coat of paint.
The staff was great - helpful, friendly and efficient!
