After wanting to visit the artificial lake nearby (which unfortunately in July 2023 is not accessible), we parked at this place and just wanted to do a sneak peek. We stayed there longer - a nice place to eat, see the old-fashioned lifestyle, domesticated animals (well taken care of), and to see, try and buy natural home-made products (presented by the kindest lady). If you go around this place (to Zeus cave / Monasteries / small villages around), this is definitely a spot worth visiting!

A lovely place to experience traditional crafts, local agriculture and farming. Manos & Dimitris are super nice, the kids loved it. We were there just for a short while, but definitely planning to come back.

Exceptionally lovely family business, friendly, welcoming, no 'hard sell' just really open people. Delicious food and great service at their taverna in spite of many visitors. Make your own clay pot helped by guiding hand of expert potter was so much fun for all of us (mum, dad & two teens) . Would definitely recommend this place. Long drive to get there but really worth it. Loved feeding their goats too.

A stunning drive up into the Crete mountains and came across this little gem of a place high up on a plateau in the welcoming mountain villages. We were given the opportunity to make a small jar on the pottery wheel with instructions from a kind gentleman, skilled in his craft. There are also lots of traditional skills and a taverna with traditional Greek food and drinks plus plenty of opportunity to rest and relax. The shop sells lovely items suitable for gifts and we were given a personalised tour of the place and were able to taste different flavours of raki! Great place!

While exploring Lasithi Plateau we visited the Lasinthos Eco Park. Great place to relax, have a drink and see animals and local craft. Besides this, we say 1000 times thank you for the extraordinary helpfulness of the hosts. Our boy accidently cut his hand, and we were first aided, telephonically announced and escorted by car to the next hospital - where our son got sewn with 4 stiches. Great kindess and charity, we did met today, epharisto to all the people who helped, without asking for anything.

Wonderful place and extraordinary hosts! We had a wonderful one week stay, the kids loved feeding the animals and the activities in the park, Manos and Dimitris were wonderful and helped us with every request, Really hope to come back, Highly recommended for a relaxing and recharging time in a very special place. Many apples, pears, figs and grapes trees to eat from.... Highly recommended!!!! שהינו שבוע במקום, היה נפלא ומקסים, הילדים נהנו מאוד , האכילו חיות, עבדו בחימר וטילנו באזור. המון עצי פרי שיכלנו לקטוף מהם ולאכול... מקום מיוחד עם חוויה שונה של כרתים, מומלץ בחום!

Lasinthos is the best place to stay in Lasithi Plateau. The traditional maisonette was comfortable and clean, decorated with the local ceramics and the handmade embroidered tablecloths and curtains. The view from the balcony of the maisonette was unforgettable. Although we usually cook our breakfast by ourselves, in Lasinthos serve a very rich breakfast for only 5 euro per person and we could not resist to try all these unique flavors of the local organic products. My daughter (13 years old) enjoyed the ceramic workshop, the farm with sheep, goats, horses, cows, quails, chickens, gooses etc, riding a donkey to the cave of Zeus (only 5 minutes driving distance from Lasinthos) that was very impressive and meeting the teens of the village. I enjoyed the tasty food with fresh organic products from the farm that they serve in Lasinthos. When i left my home in Santorini island, there was a usual hot spell of summertime and i felt so relieved when i arrived in the wonderful cool climate of Lasithi that i didn't want to leave from Lasinthos and i extended my stay there to 4 nights.

Très belle expérience dans ce lieu paisible tenu par des personnes fantastiques. Nous avons mangé un très bon repas crétois. Nous avons eu la chance de voir un atelier de poterie et nous avons pu faire la notre avec l'aide de l'artisan. Merci beaucoup pour ce moment passé dans ce coin tranquille. N'hésitez pas à y faire escale.

Petites maisons simples à flanc de colline avec très belle vue sur le Plateau du Lassithi. Petite ferme au sein de l’enceinte, très chouette pour les petits. Les hôtes sont très gentils et arrangeants. Petit déjeuner copieux à 5 euros. Rapport qualité / prix très correct. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment.
