Good facilities which was convenient and well laid out The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The most wonderful staff, spotless rooms, lots of extras, loved the remote controlled curtains,comfortable beds, huge bathroom, lovely cosy warm bedroom.Perfect location to visit my daughter.Foid very tasty.The best of all was the enthusiastic, young, bright staff.Best hotel I stayed in the Netherlands.

This is a university student-run hotel. Check-in was a bit slow as the receptionist needed constant assistance from the supervisor. An ambassador accompanied me to the hotel room - all first-time guests would definitely need to be escorted as the rooms are far away from the reception and there are multiple hallways and function rooms in between - and she did an excellent job in explaining to me how students participated in the running of the hotel. Both the check-in person and ambassador were friendly and asked me whether I needed assistance in exploring Leeuwarden. The tourist map available at the front desk was more than sufficient for me. The room was large in European's standard. Mine was on the first floor and the view was other school buildings. The bathroom was large as well. Lighting was decent, although the fluorescent tube above my bed would not light up. Since the hotel is on campus, one has to buzz the front-desk to open the gate to the parking lot.

We were invited by family and experienced the package: "Kruip in de huid van" which is organized by the hotel students to show the guests their study environment. Hotel Wyswert is located in the Hotelschool just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Leeuwarden . This is an example of how all hotels should be, smiling helpful students, perfect rooms, perfect restaurant & enthusiastic service. We had a great weekend!

Very comfortable bed and linen. Innovative lightnening system. Good airconditioning. Quiet room. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Breakfast was good, especially capuccino. Parking was free and easy. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Overall very good impression.

This is a hotel connected to the hotel school in the adjoining building. It’s run very professionally by students. Spotless, comfortable and quiet, with even a turndown service. Breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve had at a hotel (and all beautifully served on Heinen Delft Blue porcelain, very stylish).

Had a wonderful stay at Notiz hotel. My room was very comfortable (particularly the bed), spacious, and spotless. Lights, curtains and tv all controlled by a tablet by the bed. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Great continental breakfast in the mornings; breads, meats, yogurt and overnight oats. Range of eggs and fry’s available from the kitchen. Pleasant short walk into Leeuwarden. Excellent service, fully recommend.

Mattress a bit on the soft side for my taste. Black appliances in the bathroom are great and modern, please keep in mind that they catch dust very quickly and give the impression of unclean though it had just been cleaned. That’s more an observation re interior design choices. Restaurant was great and clearer, consistent labelling could help.

The hotel is not far from the city center, in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was spacious and welcoming, with a really comfortable bed. Staff is super nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well, overall great quality for the price of the stay!

I was visiting the NHL University for a conference and stayed on site at this student staffed hotel. The students take great pride in all aspects from check in to room service. Rooms are decent with everything controlled through the television. There is a strong emphasis on sustainability resulting in tiny packets of soap, but there are several so this is fine. One point they could consider is to provide hair shampoo and shower gel (I used my own). Breakfast in the restaurant attached to the university was excellent and a real strength. Unusually, breakfast was not a buffet. Instead you are brought an individual,generous plate of ham and cheese,fresh bread and croissant with jam. Additionally you can order up freshly cooked eggs. The students seem to take pride in their service and work hard to satisfy their guests, presumably because they are being assessed on it. Overall, a very positive experience

Dit was de t****e keer dat we dit hotel hebben bezocht. We zijn wederom onder de indruk van de service, algemene beleving en de vriendelijkheid van al het personeel. Het ontbijt is een cadeautje ( allemaal vers producten en veel variatie). Alles wordt aan tafel gebracht en de bediening is erg alert op alle wensen. De kamers zijn zeer schoon & hygiënisch, sfeervol en de bedden zijn heerlijk. Al met al een echte aanrader voor een bezoekje aan Leeuwarden en omgeving.

Zeer vriendelijk en warm onthaal. Op wandelafstand van het oude centrum. Uitzonderlijk lekker gegeten. Zowel s'avonds als s'morgens. Maakt deel uit van de NHL met gemotiveerde en efficiënte studenten. Een aanrader

Fantastische ervaring in dit hotel, vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel met name Sam springt erboven uit. Ontzettend lekker en verassend gegeten. Chapeau!

Aanrader om hier te gaan overnachten wanneer je in Leeuwarden wilt verblijven. Hele goede ontvangst. En een hele fijne en schone kamer. Het bed was comfortabel. En een schone en ruime badkamer. Je hebt niet het idee dat je door studenten wordt geholpen. Ze deden het uitstekend.
