Just like a motel, the soundproofing is not good and the waiters don't have the awareness to be quiet.

The lobby is cozy and the room is okay. Not many choices for breakfast. But I was scratched by the shower head when I took off it from the wall to warm up the water. I didn’t expect there was a sharp edge on it.

Great accommodations for being in such a remote location. Great breakfast every day. Just a very pleasant experience. Large open room for the restaurant. Very cozy in the wintertime. Good room service accommodations as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the Islands.

Staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast was wonderful: good variety and excellent quality.

We booked an upgraded room, guess what…no working TV, dirty sofa and parts of the bed curtains had stains. Last visir for me. I world like to know about the no working TV at least. The cleaning must have a good upgrade. Nice people at the desk, nice food in the restaurant thow.

This hotel is probably at the lower end of the usually-good Scandic hotel chain. It is a two-story hotel which hosts tour groups (with their loud buses) and , it seems, lond distance truck drivers too. Room was not properly vacuumed upon entry and televisions were not working. Apparently, none of the rooms' televisions were working--yet the restaurant TV was fine. They needed to address that ASAP, as it is a feature they advertise. Breakfast was perfectly adequate...no complaints there.

This hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. The rooms have been modernised, but the hotel is generally run down. The location is central, but not very scenic. The staff are friendly, but need some service training. My dinner was the one redeeming factor, the grilled stock fish was excellent!

We stayed here for three nights and honestly it was wonderful. From the very friendly reception staff, lovely rooms to the amazing breakfast (which was included). We had dinner there twice and it was the best food we had in Norway! The chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted and the second night was an Italian themed dinner! It was wonderful!! The prices were very reasonable (as Norway is expensive for food). I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is very well located right in the township and a short taxi ride from the airport. Well done to all the staff - we loved our stay! From the Aussies!

This hotel is part of a large hotel chain and you get ‘the standard’ Scandinavian experience here - this is a positive point. Our room was large and well decorated and maintained to a high standard. In addition, there was a sofa (bed) in the room. Breakfast was excellent with the full range of food offer. Our only negative was the hotel being used by coach parties meaning breakfast can be hectic as everyone tries to get through in time for their scheduled departure. We could not get the tv in our room to work.

The Scandic Hotel Leknes is by no means the most modern or luxurious hotel you’ll find, and appears quite frugal in comparison to most other hotels I stayed at. That said, the staff of this hotel is amongst the most friendly, accommodating and service minded staff I have ever encountered. No matter what request we made, the staff displayed a “no problem, we’ll fix it”-attitude. I certainly felt very well taken care of. The breakfast was very good, and more than covered my requirements for what I deem to be a good hotel breakfast. Another great plus with this hotel is that the water pressure in the shower was way better than most hotels provide, and for once I could take a proper shower in a hotel - I’m not too used to that. Most of all, Scandic Hotel Leknes offers good value for money.

Maybe not so iconic as other scandic hotels but definetely a good choice. I really appreciate breakfast, excellent quality and options even if you have to choose the timing during covid restrictions. I suggest this hotel, not cheap ma worth the price

Nice and comfortable stay. Very kind staff at the reception. Good position to visit Lofoten. Standard breakfast. To be improved: in the evening the water of the shower was never able to get very warm.
