Just returned from 5 nights staying in room number 8. Woken up nearly every morning to the sound off drilling around 9am and just to mix it up more drilling one night at 10pm. Very steep stairs up to the rooms not easy to see when carrying a suitcase. Breakfast was good however and very good location opposite Leuven Station. Overall I think I'll stay somewhere else next time.

The girl that welcomed me for check-in was very friendly. The people at breakfast were NOT. They were really unfriendly, the breakfast times did not match, every source said something different. Room was unfinished. The staff being mean really left me with a bad taste. Breakfast was good, too bad I didn't get the time to take it easy. Some other people were also later to the breakfast and got the same treatment.

Rooms are immediately above the restaurant and opposite main rail and bus station but was still reasonably quiet. Nice restaurant and good breakfast. Very easy walk into the centre. Single room was very small and could do with a little refresh.

We stayed at the Hotel Mille Colonnes for 1 night. The rooms and the bathroom were of a reasonable size and very clean. The hotel is very centrally located right across from the railway station; nevertheless, it was comparatively quiet at night. However, you should not leave the windows open.... Entry to the hotelwas through the restaurant on the ground floor, which was a bit unusal at first. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was really, really delicious offering something for any taste. The staff was nice and helpful, also during the booking process before. An underground car park around 500 m from the hotel offers favourable day tariffs. We would definitely choose the Mille Colonnes again for another trip to Leuven.

Close to the station. Very clean hotel without elevator. Very friendly welcome. We had a pleasant room on the 1st floor at the front. Not too noisy but thin partitions. Buffet breakfast. We did not try the restaurant.

It was a somewhat unusual situation. The restaurant was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. But the hotel did everything it could to alleviate the inconvenience. Therefore, this review only applies to accommodation. And that was fine. It is a budget hotel in an excellent and beautiful location opposite the station. The room was renovated with excellent beds and a small but complete bathroom, new television. Located at the rear, so very quiet. All in all a pleasant price-quality ratio. I will definitely come back again to try the restaurant.

Well located near train and bus stops. Perfect for exploring Leuven on foot. Rooms are basic. But spacious. Everything available for a short stay. Beds could be better, mattresses a bit sagging. Front rooms have a beautiful view of the station and Martelarenplein. Very tasty and extensive breakfast!!

Something went wrong with our booking. The owner became arrogant. And we could make our plan. There we were in Leuven by train. At the very least he could provide another place to stay. Nothing mattered to that nada. Fortunately, we were able to go to Ibis Leuven Centrum. Great hotel and super helpful and because we were unlucky we got a nice discount. I am someone who is always positive and also in my reviews, but this hotel is below par. We will never come here again.

We stayed in room number 11, which was in a quiet location at the back, but two flights of stairs high, no elevator. The hotel is outdated and the wall-to-wall carpet is filthy. The room itself also had a seat with holes and stains, mattresses that were far too soft and outdated plumbing. No extra pillowcases, very basic. The price was low for the location and the breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly, but given the condition of the hotel, it would not be worth repeating. The lunch in the Ivy where breakfast was served was also substandard (not fresh, not tasty and we received fried sweetbreads!). Not worth repeating for me, despite the delicious breakfast.

Strategic location very close to the train station and the center of Leuven. Functional, warm and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, they speak English. Excellent breakfast, plentiful and full of different foods. It is also possible to have dinner at the hotel.
