Amazing hotel with excellent location and amenities. Some rooms with breathtaking balcony views and private hot tubs. Delicious pastries at breakfast. Will definitely book again for all future trips to Lisbon

Truly lovely property and an energetic, accommodating young staff! We slept well, ate well, and particularly enjoyed the spa area with its hot tub and sauna.

Overall a pleasant experience. Good breakfast, friendly staff and well equipped room. The location is a bit inconvenient and Uber car can’t stop at the door. You have to walk 2-3 minutes downhill to the pick up spot to wait for Uber car, which is very inconvenient with luggage or raining.

Casa Balthazar is a truly unique property, and was the best place that we stayed in a two-week trip to Portugal. We had a large suite, which was both comfortable and very quiet; bed was excellent. What truly separated the place, however, were (a) the staff and (b) the continental breakfast, which was truly outstanding. The hotel is very well located (although difficult to find initially) and is a short walk from numerous restaurants and areas of interest. Very highly recommended.

This hotel is an absolute jewel. It was beautiful, perfectly appointed, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. When we left to go home, it was too early for breakfast so the night before the staff brought us a magnificent tray of food, which we packed and took to the airport. We hope to return to Lisbon and stay there again!

Casa Balthazar is a very special place to stay in Lisbon. The location is perfect for exploring the old city and enjoying shopping and dining. The staff is extraordinary, so kind and knowledgeable, willing to go way beyond what is expected. The room was lovely and the breakfast perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit.
