Great location!

The location of the hotel is convenient, it is only five minutes away from the subway station (Seville), and the pedestrian street (Gran Via) is very close. Since the sightseeing spots in Madrid are relatively concentrated, you can basically walk to the attractions from the hotel, and it is only within ten minutes. There should be a government office building near the hotel, and there are many police stationed there, so the law and order is considered safe.

I always stay at SoHo Congresos because it fits all my categories: location is excellent; professional staff; clean throughout; plenty of space; and, the linens and comfortable beds provide the best night's sleep. Furthermore, it's quiet; there's no street noise.

The hotel is on a quiet side street and very close to the metro and airport bus stop. Walking distance to the market and other sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, big bathroom, white sheets. Good buffet however whole wheat/rye bread and vegan/vegetarian dishes were not offered everyday.

Found this place last minute. We sure lucked out! Rooms were clean and well equipped. Beds were cozy and staff was professional and polite. Location was perfect and it was down a street where only taxis and Ubers were allowed so no busy traffic. Plenty of sho and food to walk to and metro. Will stay here again! Loved it!

the bathrooms and hallways have acrid pungent smell suggestive of plumbing issues; air conditioner did not work at all; noise in the the room throughout the night from staff loading / unloading items; if you get the supposedly quiet room facing courtyard be prepared to constantly smell tobacco smoke from smokers allowed to smoke there; staff are nice, trying to do their best, but the place is dismal, not 4 stars by any stretch of imagination

Had a great stay at Soho Boutique Congreso. The room was big enough with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Soho Boutique has a good location in Madrid near Puerta del Sol, restaurants, and theaters, yet it is located in quiet Zorrilla street, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A beautiful hotel. Very well designed. Conveniently located with Metro, bus-stop and restaurants within easy walking distance. Rooms are very well appointed, with lovely toilets. Staff are friendly. Overall, we have a great stay.

If you are looking for a room with a view, forget about this. If you are looking for a hotel that is well run and accessible to all the important sites in Madrid, this is your pick. The rooms are spacious even by American standards, with large bath towels and crisp bed sheets.The included breakfast was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are well thought through for quality of experience. There are lounge areas on each floor to allow extra space if you wish quiet time to read or talk and not disturb those you are traveling with. I found a book exchange in the one on our floor filled with all kinds of travel ideas for Spain. Location within Madrid is fabulous. Front end staff however seemed powerless on any front. They may as well have been a computer. That does not bode well for the hospitality industry. Please empower your staff to be capable and engaging.

The hotel room had a poor view, a window that looked out into a super tiny courtyard. The bed was decent, it had two small end tables on either side, large enough for a phone and bottle of water. There is a table and chair under the TV that has a coffee maker and landline phone on it, but the table worked well for planning the day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, although on both days I was there, they opened 30 minutes late. The location of the hotel was in a good spot, near some of the central tourist attractions on Madrid.

First visit to Spain and hotel stay in Madrid, and I could not be any happier with the room, location, and amenities offered at this hotel. The room was on a smaller scale, but sufficient and room enough for a king-size bed and bath. The breakfast bars provided in the mornings (at additional cost), were very well appointed with an assortment of breakfast items (hot, cold, breads, danish, meats, cheeses, and cereals). The location of this hotel was within walking distance of the visitors' square, shops and eateries.
