The hotel is old, but it is well maintained and clean. The bed is super comfortable.

Everything very much to our liking

Extremely doubt how this hotel is rated as 4 stars, the disposable toiletries in the room are only available for 2 days a week. The room hygiene is also very poor, except for the bed sheets, dust is everywhere, and the bathtub is not cleaned. There are no boilers in the room, and no bottled water. Coffee and tea bags will be charged an additional 25 euros (you will only know when you check in at the front desk of the hotel). It's really educated that this hotel can also be rated 4 stars.

Very nice and quiet hotel in good neighbourhood. Metro station close by so it's easy to travel around the city. Lots of restaurants and cafes at the area. Great hotel in general!

It's a beautiful hotel and very clean, but rooms were extremely small and had no window to outside which would make it hard to stay in and rest

I liked the location, the staff, the decoration and cleanliness; for me, the room was super small, no place to place the luggage, also the view of the room was not the best, maybe in another room you get a better view. I would come back for sure.

Disappointing that a 4 star hotel does not have tea/coffee facility in the room and there wasn’t a bin in the main room. The photos of the hotel were older and did not reflect how old the hotel was although it was clean. We were very happy with the service however.

Weekend stay in Madrid. The hotel is nicely located, the room was relatively large, clean, and with a comfortable bed. The internet works well. The sound isolation is rather poor, noise from other rooms heard clearly in the morning. Did not have breakfast, although the buffet looked generous.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. My room was on the first floor near the restaurant and elevators (not recommended). No view of the city from my room, but it had large window for natural light. It was a small room with two twin beds just as I asked. It was a bit noisy in the hallway for my preference, but the room had all that I needed. The blackout curtains and decent blow dryer were a plus. Taxi was called by hotel and arrived in minutes. Staff were pleasant and helpful, no hassles. Two small bottles of water were offered in room at arrival but not replenished during my weeklong stay. I didn’t ask for more. Location was close to shops, bakery, small grocery store, cafes and the metro! I felt safe walking alone late at night. If one has younger kids the park across the street is lovely. Great overall! Juan Luis was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. He checked us in fast. He greeted us each day we were there. Excellent service. The hotel is in a great location and it’s easy to walk everywhere within the city center. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

This was a lovely hotel in a very quiet neighborhood - convenient to all the sights of Madrid, but tucked away on a quiet street. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and linens, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was renovation underway on my floor, making it very noisy during the day. And there was a problem regulating temperature, so my room was always a bit too warm. That said, it was an amazing value and an ideal location. I plan to rebook there on my next visit.

This hotel was beautiful! We are on a 18 day bus tour and this has to be the prettiest hotel and most comfortable. My only complaint is there are not enough glasses for drinking and teeth brushing. Also the coffee machine in the buffet is complicated. But other than that it's great. Perfect location too!
