The hotel was perfect , especially the animation team was very very good and i like them so much , the animator alex was very very kind and polyvalont i apereciate him , and all the animation team also was perfect i thank them for everything ❤️😍 The restaurant alao was good i like the foods there

We spent two weeks at the Mahdia Palace hotel, from the end of July to the beginning of August. We have very good impressions. The hotel is clean, very well maintained. The staff is friendly, especially our wonderful maid Rashida. The security on the beach and in the hotel is excellent. The rooms are very large, the beds are comfortable, especially the toilet, and especially the bathroom. The beach is beautiful, big and clean. The only complaint is the restaurant, which serves an all-inclusive meal. The hall is not big enough to accommodate all the guests, so schedules are made and people wait. 15 minutes to the next shift, in front of the door..I don't think that's right for a 5 star hotel. It's very crowded, we couldn't enjoy the delicious meals. It feels like we're in a student restaurant. When people are on vacation, they don't want to to look at the clock and calculate when the lunch shift is. After 20 years, we decided to go to Tunisia, in previous years we visited Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Malta, Italy, etc. and we have not experienced such a bad organization of restaurants, as here. Is a good hotel .. clean hotel with clean rooms .. restaurant is beautiful too with many choices and is good foods .. and we can't forget the animation team specially " ramos " and " bobo " this twice is so crazy and funny and also dancers .. we will back of course

This is the best hotel. I like thalasso ,food, cleaning and like so much ANIMATION TEAM , I like all team but the best one my friend AZIZ. With AZIZ I can spend my day . And animation team make positive vibes only one hundred % I want to come back here next year. And tell about this hotel to my friends. That’s all thank you for your attention

It's beautiful hotel and there are many things is so beautiful .. rooms is clean and always clean and pool to is clean and with amazing restaurant there are many foods .. Tunisian food Italian food many .. the persons who work in hotel is amazing always smiling and give us positive energy positive vibes .. and of course we can't forget the animation team is great team and specially animator " Ramos : Yasser " ans " Bobo : Amine " I didn't see in my life two animator like this twice crazy funny dancers they do all ... For sure we will back to this hotel

Very nice Hotel with great staff. Rooms are clean and so big. Nice view. Animation program and games for children and adults. Great volleyball time 🤟🏽. Meals was so good and fresch every time of day. Drinks and snacks at the pool.

bobo is the best animator. great fun, he's a big boss. The hotel is super equipped, the beach is nice with clean sea. Every night a disco with super animators. Animators take care of a great program. The hotel is clean, always tidy. I will definitely come back here.

One of the best holidays I've been on since many years honestly never met people as polite and welcoming bobo was one of the animators with an amazing humour always made me laugh brought joy to the holiday every morning with a smile on the face felt like having a bestfriend on holiday with any problems or anything always helped and never failed to make me happy recommend 100% to anyone, food was brilliant never tried such an amazing taste in food brilliant lastly the bartenders never revived service as good as here always checked up on us to see if we were okay and if to have any drinks very welcoming people to talk to happy definitely will be coming again best hotel in Mahdia to go to thank you so much for an amazing hotel 10/10 👍

I have just returned after a 7 night stay. I can understand why this hotel received 5 stars, 7 years ago, however it probably would not get 5 stars if rated now. First impressions are wonderful, the reception area is magnificent, the pool area looks great and the bar areas have 'hundreds' of comfortable looking leather sofas. The rooms are large, seperate toilet and bathroom, ok balcony but its all a bit dated. Now the food. At best it would be classed as 3 star food. If you like salad, there are about 10 different types every meal. If you like desserts, you can try about 20 different types of dessert every meal. The rest of the food is disappointing, its almost always cold or luke warm if youre lucky, if something runs out it will be replaced but it will take a while. more like 20-30 minutes. The restaurant is like a Butlins, it shares no resemblance to the standards of the public areas of the hotel. This is what you get for about £5 per meal as the hotel only charges about £20 a night for half board. The hotel is at the end of Mahdia, a quick cheap taxi trip will get you to the town itself, where you realise that it wasnt worth the effort. So you are stuck with whatever the hotel offers for entertainment. The hotel was quiet by 10pm, that sums up how poor the entertainment was. This is not an all inclusive hotel, they make a lot of money from the inflated prices for drinks, but the hotel makes no attempt to keep guests entertained and therefore spending money. Its a good hotel for Tunisia, if you pay about £400 - 500 per person for a week, with flights, then you won't be disappointed. If you pay more than that, you won't be too pleased. I would not return to Mahdia, as its not welcoming or developed enough for tourists, If the Mahdia Palace was somewhere else, then I probably would return for a cheap quiet break but only if the price was tempting.

Bad service and racists against muslims. My wife could not get a thallaso threatment because she is wearing a hijab. Also she could not swim in the pool because she wears a burkini. This hotel is very bad against muslims.

week stay here, was not our original hotel as Lovholidays booked us into hotel that was closed ok firstly we was picked up by coach and then randomly asked to get off outside hotel into a smaller taxi, which was bit alarming at first as nobody explained this would happen, to then go on long drive to hotel late at night which did worry me at first. this happens on return trip as well so dont be alarmed if this happens we was jjust not informed about this well was pleasantly surprised hotel was amazing it was clean, staff were friendly an welcoming check in was straight forward, we had bags taken to our rooms for us, we arrived late in evening and was offered food and drinks plus points, food was lots of different things not hugh selection but hotel was quiet- be was able to find something to eat every day, salad, meat, chicken, fish, soups, pots, bread, fruit ect Muhammed in the restaurant was very polite and always ready for when you go into restaurant with table for us, be aware they do so there own sections at meals times so if want am waiter need to seat in area they working to be fair all the restaurant staff including chefs were very polite and accommodating if need any help pool bar was not open when we visited drinks All inclusive is limited - vodka-rum, limted cocktails, if you want from other menu you have to pay- word of advice please tip and trust me it pays as they will tend to do table service ect and soon as glass empty they suually there to replace with drink, just be clear as to what you want as sometimes they get it wrong- the bar man usually on in sports bar in evening is very friendly and remembers your drinks, the waiter sorry if have name spelt wrong Abestar is very nice and usually does waiter service around the pool entertainment is in lobby bar and limited as was early season, we didnt tend to go there so we unable to say what was on throughout the day there is not much to do around hotel other than trips on quad bikes, camels, scuba diving and as hotel was very quiet they did not put anything on during day other than music outside. pool is clean but cold when first get in but once in there it tends to get better, beach is literally outside the back entrance and you there rooms are very spacious we had garden view room 325/327 which you could see the sea from, room cleaned every day, curretly doing refurb for carpets at hotel ok so there is nothing to do outside of hotel, limited shops out front, about 30 mins walk to nearest shop if want snack, drinks ect, otherwise taxi to town, which we didnt visit. most shops only accept cash/TD as no internet in some shops so beware will need to exchange at hotel as not allowed to take the currencency in with you and will need to change on way home as you get stopped at airport and asked about what amount of currency you have and how much even english money down side unfortuntley we had a very loud family that seem to think they run the hotel and was very demanding with staff, would

Worst food ever - 5 star hotel? Dear Chef Curcuma is not the only spice in the world, you don't need to add it to everything, especially soup. Hot spices are really spicy for us tourists, we don't need to sprinkle them with spoons. There are cows in Tunisia, so you can serve butter, not margarine. I know everything is supposed to be cheap, but it doesn't have to be tasteless. Sometimes less is better!!! And we like to drink warm drinks with every meal, is it such a problem to put out hot water not only for breakfast?

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We were very satisfied with the hotel. The room was big and they cleaned us every day. Everything was great - food, cleaning and staff. the food was excellent and there was always something to choose from. There were domestic specialties to choose from, but also European classics. Pizza and Arabic bread were famous! And they have the best cakes here. We also took advantage of dinner at the restaurant, where they served us seafood salad, fish soup, and grilled sea bream. An amazing experience. The program was secured for the whole day for both - children and adults. Animators took care of the program during the day - aqua aerobics, zumba. In the evening we could listen to a singer, a saxophonist or a violinist. Everyone was amazing. The beach was clean, with beautiful fine sand, turquoise water. The lifeguards were willing. Sellers were not allowed to walk among the people. The beach was controlled by a security guard. Everyone was very pleasant, willing to help and pleasant to talk to. I especially want to highlight your staff who were always smiling and nice. Our requests were always met. Please convey our thanks to the staff - especially in the dining room and on the beach. I don't understand the negative reviews about this hotel. Tunisians, you are nice and kind people. we thank you.

From the moment of arrival, everything was well organized. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well organized. The rooms are big and nice. They are cleaned every day and towels are changed. The hotel staff is very friendly. The food is perfect as are the bars. The animation is excellent. The beach is beautiful with wonderful clear sea. I recommend the hotel for vacation
