We’ve have had the most amazing stay here at the Finolhu baa atoll Maldives. The resort, service, cuisines at the restaurants on the island have been impeccable. We stayed in a Lagoon Villa with an infinity pool over looking the Indian Ocean, to draw back the curtains in a morning with this view has been amazing. Our family did the Sea Turtle & Dolphins excursion. Snorkelling with Sea Turtles was surreal. There are many excursions to do, so you won’t be bored. If the Maldives is on your bucket list and you prefer somewhere that has a much slower pace in an idyllic setting, this is the island for you!!

This was our 3rd trip to the Maldives and also to Finolhu. From the moment we stepped of our plane we were treated like family. The GM, Front Office Manager and guest experience manager were all there to greet us and welcome us to the island. We were introduced to our Butler (Nashwan) who was just amazing and was available to get anything done quickly with just a message. Truly a professional. The resort looks fantastic and always looks like it's new. The maintenance of the villas and facilities is second to none. We had an overwater Pool Villa to take in those unreal Maldivian Sunsets. The food and service at all the restaurants and Bars is amazing, with so many of the staff telling us how happy they are to be working at Finolhu. Many have worked at other resorts but believe that their facilities, pay and conditions are the best in the Maldives. Happy staff mean great service. Upal who was working in Kanusan on our second night even remembered our names from our stay 2 years ago - absolutely amazing. Kanusan and Crab Shack are our absolute favourites for dining. The relaxed sand between your feet eating fresh caught Seafood at Crab Shack to the 5 star dining experience of Kanusan has to be experienced. The Beach Kitchen was also amazing for Breakfast, lunch or the themed dinners each night. The water is crystal clear (29 degrees), with shades of blues that has to be seen to be believed, photos just don't do it justice. The longest sandbank in the Maldives of crystal white sand is amazing.l If anyone is considering a trip to the Maldives, you could not go wrong with booking your stay at Finolhu. We will be going back again as soon as possible.

One of the best experiences ever, what makes it even better is the amazing assistance from Ikram. She makes us feel unbelievably comfortable and welcomed. This kind of excellence took me, and my wife, experience to another level of satisfaction. The weather was rainy, however, the overall atmosphere experience is amazing!

What a great vacation destination 🤩 We spent 10 days at Finolhu in May 2024 and we really loved it. Great staff, excellent food and great accommodation. We enjoyed our Ocean Pool Villa, that we can highly recommend for the view and for snorkeling directly along the ocean side villas in the house reef. The main season was alredy over so we enjoyed quite a lot of specials like complementary upgrades to the signature restaurants Kanusan and Arabian Grill due to lower occupancy and found it pretty nice that there were not too many people on the beach, at the main pool and in the restaurants. We can recommend the month of May if you also enjoy a calm vacation. Weather was still gret apart from a few short rainfalls that don‘t disturb your quality of vacation as it stays warm and everything dries super quickly. Try the dolphin akd turtle safari. We really enjoyed the trip, saw dolphins swimming alongside the boat and snorkelled with turtles 🥰 FYI: Half board might really be enough if you don‘t drink many cocktails and several glasses of wine every day.

We went half board and there’s no value in that. Staff are great esp Upul, very friendly and attentive but didn’t see much of the management and it was my third time out there. Previous management were very attentive and made a lot of time for us and even gave us a free upgrade but nothing this time. Its the little things
