This was our 3rd trip to the Maldives and also to Finolhu. From the moment we stepped of our plane we were treated like family. The GM, Front Office Manager and guest experience manager were all there to greet us and welcome us to the island. We were introduced to our Butler (Nashwan) who was just amazing and was available to get anything done quickly with just a message. Truly a professional. The resort looks fantastic and always looks like it's new. The maintenance of the villas and facilities is second to none. We had an overwater Pool Villa to take in those unreal Maldivian Sunsets. The food and service at all the restaurants and Bars is amazing, with so many of the staff telling us how happy they are to be working at Finolhu. Many have worked at other resorts but believe that their facilities, pay and conditions are the best in the Maldives. Happy staff mean great service. Upal who was working in Kanusan on our second night even remembered our names from our stay 2 years ago - absolutely amazing. Kanusan and Crab Shack are our absolute favourites for dining. The relaxed sand between your feet eating fresh caught Seafood at Crab Shack to the 5 star dining experience of Kanusan has to be experienced. The Beach Kitchen was also amazing for Breakfast, lunch or the themed dinners each night. The water is crystal clear (29 degrees), with shades of blues that has to be seen to be believed, photos just don't do it justice. The longest sandbank in the Maldives of crystal white sand is amazing.l If anyone is considering a trip to the Maldives, you could not go wrong with booking your stay at Finolhu. We will be going back again as soon as possible.
