Motel 6 York, PA - North

Average motel but the room was pretty filthy. There was some unknown filth on the wall, a black spot on the bathtub floor, dirty moldy looking spots on the bathroom floor. Shower doesnt work well either. The beds are ok, not the most comfortable but not the worst either. Front desk is behind thick plastic/glass as if it is some high crime area...off putting.

The room was large. The bathtub was filthy. I went to the dollar store to buy spray disinfectant before I’d let my son use the shower. Nobody had cleaned under the beds for years. The sheets were laundered but stained. Be careful not to confuse this this with the other Motel 6 nearby. It’s even worse

Dirty lobby and hallways, floors and carpets covered with stains and trash. The elevator was equally filthy and the wooden rail inside was splintered and damaged. The bed in my first room was made with old, stained sheets with holes in them, so I asked for a room change. The manager, very nice, did so without hesitation. Of course, the second room was worse: burn holes in the sheets and thin, old, stained towels. The floor was unswept: twigs and French fries on the floor. I slept with my clothes on. A terrible, terrible place.

Fourth Floor both rooms were nothing but Roaches crawling everywhere. they moved us once mind you we had two young children by the second room after continuously killing ROACHES and trying to call the front desk and No one answering since they were all hanging outside with their pals looking shady. almost Midnight the young man who also works at the other property said "If im unhappy with my accomodations I am free to leave. AT ALMOST MIDNIGHT WITH A TODDLER AND A CHILD IN TOW to drive 5.5 hours home. Refused to contact manageent I have so many photos its absolutely disgusting. Roaches on the head boards, on my kids bed, on our bed, bathroom and OUR TV etc. Rody or Brody who was there as well said they cannot give us a receipt that states we left. THey also refused to give us their names at the front desk but i do know the one young man works at the other one down the road. Completely disgusted. I've put in e-mails and reviews to many different companies now. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND going to this hotel.

Well when booking this, I called the hotel directly and got a weekly rate. Check in was easy, the lobby was unkept. It goes straight down hill from there. I had driven about 10 hours and was ready to crash. It was late when I got in. Upon opening the door, I found a burned comforter, disgusting bathroom, hair in the bathtub, you can see the pictures. I was tired, and ready to sleep, wrapped up in my own blankets, used my own pillows. I called and ask to have the room cleaned, linen, towels etc. Never happened 14 years in the Military, and I have never stayed anywhere as disgusting. Avoid this place at all cost!
