I have to say that this is the first hotel that shocked me. The outer appearance doesn't do it any justice but the inside is beautiful. When my wife and I arrived, the manager who I can't remember her name was able to accommodate us in an early check-in since I had to work. She was very kind and polite and thoughtful. Our room was very spacious and clean. I would normally be suspicious of how well the rooms are cleaned but everything was wiped down and bedding had no sign of hair, stains or anything else. Bathroom was very clean. I believe our cleaner was holli if I remembered correctly. Overall, I'd stay again whenever visiting in Mankato.

Upon arrival to our room, there was toothpaste in the sink, slightly thrown together beds, and a dirty mini fridge. The service was adequate at the desk. Reception area and breakfast area were both clean and cared for though. I think it might be worth paying a little extra money in hotels for a cleaner room.
