I have stayed here before on a few occasions the last probably about 10 years ago. Travelled with my 15 year old daughter and wanted to stay in a familiar place and it didn’t disappoint. Both gentlemen I encountered on reception were very pleasant and professional. Our apartment was fantastic. We were given a room on the 6th floor. It had a separate kitchen with oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual dishes and utensils you would need. The bedroom was lovely and bright with sliding doors to the balcony with a table and four chairs. The living room had three sliding doors out to the extremely huge L shaped balcony, I mean huge with two sunloungers. The kitchen also had a sliding door out onto a smaller balcony which had a clothes horse to dry your towels etc. The aircon worked perfectly. Any of the housekeeping staff were very friendly and we were given clean towels every day (even though we hung them up to reuse them) and our sheets were changed midweek through our stay. It was extremely quiet at night and we were not disturbed by other guests or street noise. Pool area was very clean and not busy although maybe the water a tiny bit on the cool side. All in all we had a very comfortable stay from start to finish and we will definitely return. Thanks to all at the Sultan Club.

We’re a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We had a 2 bed apartment (twin and double) which was on 2 floors with 2 full sized bathrooms and 2 balconies! Plus a pull out bed under the sofa and in the cupboard. It was lovely and clean too with daily cleaners if you wanted (we didn’t for our short stay). We were so impressed with how much space we got. Great location as it’s close to the beach, supermarkets and bus stop (for trips to Puerto Banus which we loved). We arrived after midnight and felt very welcomed by the man on reception. The pool was cold as it’s April and quite shaded but it didn’t stop my two going in for a quick dip. We didn’t use the indoor facilities or restaurant so can’t comment there. We would definitely choose here again.

Just returned from staying at the Monarque Sultan hotel. Had a great time with a wonderful large apartment and balcony,the hotel was so clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Zoltan on reception. He arranged bike hire for us,which was a great way to explore the area. We ate in the hotel restaurant 3 times and found the food to be extremely good, great menu and friendly, attentive staff. The indoor pool and spa were lovely and clean,we swam every day. We couldn't fault this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Im a person who never visits a holiday place twice visited in winter year before in March weather was dreadful but went visited in September 2023 for a week. Gave a 5 last time and same now didn’t use pool or bar or food cant comment. But for price, cleanliness, room quality and location its perfect. Service at reception was only used when getting key. Cleaners always did a great job. If went to Marbella for old town and good tapas location and beach would be my first choice

My husband and myself booked here for 10 days over Christmas, having stayed on a number of occasions years ago. We can honestly highly recommend. Everything about the Sultan was excellent! Comfort, Cleanliness, Friendliness and of course location. 5 mins to Beach promenade with fabulous restaurants and bars, within 5 mins from 3 supermarkets … El Corte Ingles,Mercadona and Supercor. Our apartment was big and spacious with lovely furnished terrace, apartments have been upgraded since we last stayed and are now very modern with everything in them you could possibly need …. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and plenty of pots and pans if you want to cook which I did on Christmas Day. I got great use of the indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi which was even open on Christmas Day! All our special requests were granted eg pool view . We are already looking forward to our next stay in this Fabulous Aparthotel!

We stayed in 609 on the top floor for four nights as a group of four ladies. The apartment was large with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and was on two floors with three balconies. On arrival, we had some initial disappointment as we didn't feel the standard of accommodation matched our expectations. Bathrooms, in particular, need some updating/tlc as the grout and shower seals look grubby. The balconies, whilst being a great size (particularly the top floor ones), also need attention, i.e., a lick of paint and some flowers in the flower beds instead of the grass/****s. This was a shame as the views of the mountains and the sea were stunning. A little effort could make them look so much better. On the plus side, the location was spot on, being less than five mins walk to the seafront yet in a quiet area. Staff on reception were very efficient and promptly sorted out a couple of issues we had. The pool area is lovely, a little limited in the number of sunbeds given the size of the building, but as we weren't there in peak season, it wasn't a problem to us at at all. There is quite a lot of shade due to the many trees, which we found pleasant, but other more serious sun worshippers might find this frustrating! Drinks from the hotel bar were very reasonably priced, and the downstairs public areas were very nicely furnished/maintained. The outside seating areas at the front and back of the hotel were very pleasant, too.
