This Riad is beautiful, not only aesthetically, but because of the beautiful people who work there. I was treated with such amazing hospitality and kindness. Very clean and very luxurious. Wonderful experience. Location is close all the major sites in the Kasbah and very quiet. Can highly recommend.

What a gem and retreat from the busy bits of Marrakesh. Though it is in the kasbah, the Riad itself is a place to relax. Stunning attention to detail in the design and decor throughout. If I could give the staff stars I’d give them 10. Friendly, helpful, any request is dealt with a smile. Book a restaurant for you, taxis etc etc. breakfast thoughtful and traditional everything fresh and when we were offered eggs anyway we simply couldn’t fit them in. I cannot recommend highly enough the level of customer service and the sense of being somewhere completely different. Paul and Catherine

Wasn’t sure what to expect staying in a Riad but it exceeded expectation. The rooms are beautiful, it’s an oasis of calm and quiet and the staff cannot do enough for you. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so looked after in a hotel before. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful riad, amazing room and bathroom, clean pool, nice breakfast and great rooftop. Very nice interior with lot of beautiful details. I had impression that I live in Moroccan house. Perfect location for exploring the city. very kind and helpful staff. Huge recommendation!

During our recent stay in Marrakesh, we had the pleasure of staying at a charming riad located in the heart of the old city, offering a genuine slice of local culture. The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptionally sweet and attentive staff. Each morning, we were greeted with a freshly prepared breakfast that could be enjoyed in various serene settings—upstairs, downstairs, or by the inviting pool. The riad’s location in the old city is ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the local way of life, and we felt completely safe while exploring the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the riad itself is incredibly welcoming, blending traditional Moroccan hospitality with the comfort of modern amenities. However, there was a minor hiccup during our stay. We purchased some charming postcards featuring the iconic goats on trees, a quintessential Moroccan scene. Wanting to share this with our nieces and nephews, we encountered a small issue with mailing them. The riad manager offered to send them on our behalf, insisting despite our preference to handle it ourselves. Unfortunately, the postcards never reached our family, which was a disappointment, albeit a small one in the context of an otherwise fantastic visit. While this was a lesson in handling things on our own, even when help is offered, it didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience. The warmth and charm of the riad and its staff left a lasting impression on us. We highly recommend this riad for anyone seeking a cultured and comfortable stay in Marrakesh, and we are certainly planning to return. If you ask for a driver, please ask for Mustafa. The best of the best taxi service, I only trust him.

Incredible riad in a peaceful part of the Kasbah but within walking distance to the main square and souks. Exceptional service from all the employees at the hotel and they could not to enough for you. Beautiful breakfast on the roof terrace with shaded areas. A true authentic experience.

We used Riad Hikaya as our base in Marrakech and honestly we can’t fault it. It’s such a beautiful building, quiet and relaxing. We stayed in a family room and had everything we needed. We ate at the Riad on the first night. The food was delicious, as was the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. My child’s allergy was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst the Riad is stunning, it was the team that made our stay so memorable. They were all so welcoming and helpful. Abdul in particular was great with our children.
