マタカナのマーケットに行く目的で４泊しました。予約の段階からホストのロレッタは非常に親切丁寧にメールで連絡くれたので安心できました。メールのレスポンスも非常にはやいです。出発前にも連絡をくださり、サービスで早めにチェックインさせてもらいました。コテージは全部で３棟。ロレッタの家の隣にあります。木の柵で仕切られており、プライベートが保障されています。隣の２棟とも離れています。車はコテージに横づけできるので、便利です。 部屋にはキッチン、冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、トースター、ポット、調理器具があります。ガスコンロがあまり大きくないので、簡単な調理ですますと思っていた方が良いかもしれません。タオルはバスタオルとハンドタオルがあります。フェイスタオルは持参した方が良いかもしれません。ベッドルームにはエアコンがあります。アイロンもあり、何かと便利でした。コテージはつくりの関係か、若干暑かったです。 大きいスーパーのあるワークワースまでは車で１０分、マタカナまでは５分と便利です。また、ワイナリーや州立公園が近く、少し足をのばせばビーチリゾートやチョコレートショップや温泉プールもあり、天気でその日の行動を決めました。のんびりするには最高のお宿です。 この宿の素晴らしいところは、プライベートが保たれるコテージ、そして、ホストのロレッタ夫妻のつかず離れずのホスピタリティです。わからないことはゆっくりとした英語で教えてくれました。 ちなみに、支払いは現金です。 オークランドからも車で１時間半で行ける素敵な場所、カントリーライフを満喫するには最高のコテージです。
