The Ibis standard of quality. The service was a little below, because it is quite moved, which makes the attendants' life difficult. The bed was also bad. The positive point for the location, great, in the most slightly rough neighborhood of the city. Near the center, but also near the attractions of El Poblado, district with restaurants, bars etc. very safe region.

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Hotel near main road, if you go with children and use stroller it is a bit complicated due to the steep slopes due to the geography of the area, when you arrive they give you a welcome cocktail for adults (not very good) and ice cream for children , in general the breakfast is quite abundant and good, we were only one night for a connection flight, the international airport is about 1 hour

The hotel is in the city center. It is a little far from the attractions. The waiters on the hotel floor are very nice. Every time I meet, I greet you warmly. The breakfast is average. The hot dishes are basically eggs and nothing vegetables.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

Great location and hotel in Medellin. We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were spacious, comfortable bed, and shower. Loved that the hotel was located inside one of the nicest malls in this city. Safe neighborhood, and close to Provenza to go out at night. I will definitely consider staying here again. I didn’t try the food, but had a couple of drinks at the bar on the rooftop.

First impression on arrival was a nice, big lobby, staff were kind, and check-in was quick. We got a corner suite which has a living room and separate bedroom although space is funny as the hotel is curved. Upon entering our room we could tell the furniture was outdated but also that it was not very well cleaned. Laminated dark floor easily showed dust and sloppy mop streaks. TV and tables were dusty as well. The bathroom was the worst, not only does it look like a hospital bathroom but toilet kept leaking every 5 minutes, trash bin was stained, roof had some repairs done only to be left with an open hole. And then I noticed smeared toothpaste in the white tile. Towels were heavily used and stained. The room could be connected with an adjoining room, which was empty for our first two nights but then the third night it was occupied and we could hear EVERYTHING. Gym is very limited, there is no pool, there are two jacuzzis we did not use that also seem dated. Room service was efficient and good, restaurant is ok. Management did follow up with my concerns after we were asked via email for our opinion.

Great hotel great location and service is simply the best I’ve ever seen. The hotel is well located. It’s beautifully remodelled the rooftop bar there’s also a big island of the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great but what I love the most is that every room is beautifully remodeled, and a very intelligent use of space.
