Enjoyed my stay. I had a quick stopover so went a budget friendly option and was happy. Good location, safe buzzing area, very Modern rooms, tad small but good. Given the price, with good breakfast, I’d stay again. Airport Express bus stop is 100m away (taxis cheap anyway but AE Bus is comfortable with wifi etc.).

The level of customer attention and assistance is just superb! Comfortable bedding and quiet room (#505). I suggest getting a room facing the inside courtyard rather than facing the Gral. Mendiburu street. Breakfast is varied, plentiful, and fresh, not your standard US-type of scrambled eggs (from a carton), sausage, and potatoes. There are 3 Tierra Viva in Miraflores. I selected the one in Mendiburu because it's in a quiet area with less traffic and is walkable to Miraflores Centro. Of course, the taxi to Miraflores Centro is just 10 soles (about $2.50).

I had an excellent time staying at Hotel Santa Cruz. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are nice and clean, and the price is a great value But the best part of my stay was the excellent service that I received from Percy, the daytime front desk manager. As an English-only speaker it is important for me that there is somebody working at any hotel I stay at who speaks English. Not only does Percy speak English, he is also incredibly communicative via WhatsApp. It made it quick and easy to coordinate housekeeping service, room service, and anything else that I needed help with. Percy also kept me up to date via WhatsApp with helpful information about the Covid-curfew, and other important local information. If you are looking for a nice comfortable place to stay in Miraflores with a helpful staff that wants you to have the best stay possible, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They also have 24 hour security.
