From our welcoming by the most delightful Mary, to meals to the goodbye's this was a fabulous experience. Room was good, Mary provided a gas heater and we had hot water in the morning! The access road is a bit bumpy and probably not good for small cars but that is exactly what makes this a hidden gem! We loved the peace and quiet and the magnificent views.

We had a wonderful stay at Sani Stone Lodge. Vast open spaces, unspoilt nature, wonderful birding and great facilities in the double rooms! The staff were so friendly and helpful and really professional.

Very cosy , excess 4x4 only,bring your own lighting generator goes off at 1930 , shower in the evening, pipes freeze at night (no water) fill buckets ( supplied ) with water to flush toilets when the pipes are frozen staff very friendly

The road to the lodge is very bad .only a 4x4 can get to the lodge in bad weather. Water supply is poor and is frozen in the mornings. not fit for people over the age of 60 only good for back packers over the age of 60

Camping would be a much better option!! No water, breakfast p/person @ M120, for getting cold scrambled eggs, vienna, baked beans and 4 slices of bread, with no margarine and cold tea - no milk. Access road very very poor. Not to be recommended at all. Rather camp or use Masoba Lodge/Sani Top Chalets - don't waste your money on this place!!

View was great, manager was adorable. But the rondavel was very expensive for what you get. No warm water, and during the day no water at all. And no electricity until 18.30 and only until 21.30. The fire place was cosy. But the cook is really bad. Ask if you can cook your selves if you have brought any food.

They must be closed during winter. It's very cold at 3.000 meters, especially in winter, so lodges must offer a heater. Also, there was no hot water. Please consider closing in winter, I am sure that in summer it's a fantastic place, the location it's stunning, but improve your services if you are open during such a season.
