So. Pictures are deceiving. I have stayed at similar properties in the same area. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel because that’s not what I booked. However… I would NOT stay here again. The hotel itself is a maze, but once you figure out that the signs don’t actually point to the elevators and you find them yourself it’s not bad. The hotel itself is just falling apart. Theres water damaged ceilings with holes where they let the water out, one of the outlets in my room was falling out of the wall. I think the worst part is, the room wasn’t super clean when I got there, the carpet should’ve been vacuumed and the mirror in the bathroom was also dirty. I think the worst thing that I saw, which I didn’t see until my last night there, was the blood on the flat sheet on the bed. I was immediately grossed out, and was disgusted that I had slept there without noticing it. The overall cost for the stay wasn’t worth it. There are much better options available in the same area for similar pricing.

Overall great experience. I read plenty of reviews and maybe people would rather dwell on the negatives than the positives, but let’s be honest, when you’re at MB how much time are you spending in your room? Ocean front view was great, indoor pool area was great my kids enjoyed thoroughly! Only complaint I have about my room was the sliding glass door wasn’t very functional, esp for the kids. Overall great stay, easy parking this time of year, would visit again!!

The Ocean Reef has become our go to for N. Myrtle Beach. We love the place. Our most recent room needed some "attention to detail" cleaning: ice coffee left in fridge from previous tenants, dishes needed better cleaning, stove exterior needed attention. Our stay was wonderful.

Poor information given at time of check in, parking pass was not pointed out to me to put in my window, old run down building showed in many places, elevators out date and did not look clean. Key board completely faded. 1980’s vacuum sound worse than a freight train outside my door @ 9am, Business Office for hotel directly across the hall with people talking in the walkway before and after 9am, No chance of sleeping in on vacation and getting in late the night before. Extremely Inconsiderate. Moved to 5th floor to avoid the noises and door to room doesn’t close due to pieces falling apart. Room smelled like smoke covered by perfume when we 1st entered, sliding door off track and would not lock, carpet in room looked 20 plus years old and was wrinkled up. Beds were not on there frames properly causing my daughter to scrap her leg, all this in less than 24 hours of checking in. Ice machine did not work on my floor or on 6 or 7th either

Multiple hot tubs. Easy access to the beach. Our room was right above dumpster and laundry facility so it was noisy until about 1 am each day.

It was a good place to stay minus the one dead bug on the floor, damaged spots in the ceiling, missing glass (was supposed to be a total of 8 like the others), and one cracked wine glass from whoever stayed there before. Would stay there again. Indoor pool was cool, didn’t get a chance to go to the outdoor one, and my children didn’t get a chance to go to the miniature water park due to the weather and it being closed off because I saw no one else’s children out there. Breakfast was high, but that’s expected being at the beach.

The poperty was older but clean. It could use an update. The biggest downside no hot water during my visit.

Stay was amazing !Room was clean and exactly what I asked for the view was amazing beds were comfortable .It was a realaxing vacation for me and wife

Good trip! Will stay again but.. had to let hot water run 20-25 mins before it got hot, also had 2 tv’s but only 1 remote the turn button on the lamp wasnt there so had to plug and unplug when we used it. But will def sty again.

Location cant be beat ... oceanfront with a great view. Front desk wasnt overly friendly or helpful. You do get accosted on check in by Wyndham resorts.

The trip was nice hotel was niceand clean but it was a bit noisy maybe because it was more of a family type setting which is nice. Iwas there for some quiet time away. But the hotel was nice overall

We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest and will recommend it to our friends and family and will definitely return to stay on our future trips.

the resort was clean and the personal were friendly and quick to help. the food was good and dinning area clean. we enjoyed the stay.

I loved the balcony, pool and hot tub. The outside property is clean and the staff was nice and welcoming
