The ambience at this hotel is worth it. Very quiet and serene. The room has a rustic look. Old but maintained with quality. Loved this hotel. When here you may assume that you are in the wilderness not in the bustling city.

The property benefits from attractive and well-maintained green spaces, which provide a pleasant environment for relaxation and outdoor activities. This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest features. However, the overall guest experience falls short of expectations, particularly given the price point. The online booking process is unclear and difficult to navigate, and appears to disadvantage guests who do not have local assistance. The system lacks transparency, creating unnecessary confusion during reservation. Despite paying over $150 for a room, I was informed upon arrival that breakfast was not included and would require an additional $40. This was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. When I sought clarification and assistance from staff, I was told this was hotel policy and that nothing could be done since the reservation had been made online. This response was disappointing and reflected a lack of flexibility and customer-oriented service. The facilities also present challenges, particularly for business travelers: The lighting in the rooms is insufficient, making it unsuitable for virtual meetings or extended work. The internet connection is both unreliable and unsecured, effectively requiring guests to incur additional costs for mobile data in order to maintain privacy and connectivity. Recommendation: While the hotel’s green spaces are worth experiencing, the overall value proposition is weak given the pricing, service limitations, and infrastructure issues. I would not recommend it for accommodation, particularly for business or extended stays. Visitors may find it more appropriate to attend events on-site or enjoy the outdoor environment, while choosing alternative accommodations elsewhere.

The environment is first-class, the most beautiful hotel in Nairobi. Except that the bathroom facilities are a bit old, everything else is worth looking forward to

The interior of the resort was clean and pretty, making me want to stay longer. All the staff were friendly too. The restaurant where the performance was held was also impressive.

Hello. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I visited your establishment today and I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by a staff member because I was wearing a scarf. I was told, in effect, that my wearing it would offend the white guests. I found this comment extremely inappropriate and discriminatory. What someone chooses to wear particularly when it’s connected to their culture and religion should not be treated as something that needs to be hidden to make other guests comfortable. After more than 20 years of visiting this hotel, I expected to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of how I dress. I sincerely hope hotel management takes this incident seriously, investigates what happened, and ensures that staff receive appropriate training on respect, inclusion, and discrimination.

I definitely would not recommend this hotel for a solo traveler and maybe even families. It seems to be further away from the city where the malls, restaurants etc are. I tried the breakfast my first day and did not like it at all. The only thing that appealed to me was the omelet station and the rosemary potatoes. I ordered food via Uber Eats and apparently they don’t allow outside food on the property. I have traveled all over the world and I haven’t stayed at a resort or property yet that has this policy. I had to meet the Uber Eats driver outside the gate, eat my food outside, then go back through security. I also ended up giving away the other items I bought to people walking by because you can’t bring things inside? This policy should be posted and readily accessible for guests to see. The room is bare bones and has the basics. The tv only has about 5-6 channels that work so after a long day at the safari don’t expect to unwind and watch any good shows. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to my friends or family.

Attended the MCK Awards at Safari Park Hotel on Thika Road on 15th May. The event was well organized with a great atmosphere and smooth coordination throughout the evening. The venue was spacious and well set up for a large crowd, and the overall ambiance was lively and memorable. The catering during the event was good, with timely service during breaks and decent food and refreshments that matched the scale of the event. I remember there was Indian cuisine included, though I can’t recall all the other dishes. Staff were professional and helpful throughout.
