Mercure Paris Nanterre

We spent two nights on July 21 and 22, with a group of around thirty people. The first contact was the painful reception of keys and capricious elevators. Arriving on the third floor, we discover our hallway under construction, with an open ceiling, tools and paint stains on the carpet... Next, the bedroom. Finally, we are a little reassured: the room has been recently renovated and everything is impeccably clean. However, a rate was displayed in the room: €250/day… incredible given the standard and the service. Fortunately, our group had much more realistic prices. Down to the bar/restaurant for dinner. We order our aperitif. Faced again, a bartender and a barmaid who had to experience their very first day of service. Impossible to distinguish champagne and crémant… so a kir… In short, we were served tempered crémant, claiming that it was champagne 😂. Not wanting to complicate things, I asked for ice... that's when a more experienced barmaid came in, who apologetically changed our glasses. Finally, we received a very cold crémant... The meal went pretty well except that I received my starter 5 minutes after my companion... Very ordinary food. Red wine in a pitcher was present on the table. A guest asked for white wine instead. There were no more... surreal. A restful night, but we were woken up very early by the market set up a few meters from the hotel... Small shower to wake up. No hot water... and there won't be any in the evening or the next day... We all grumbled. The receptionist apologized weakly, with all the nonchalance of an African hotel… Impossible for a 4* to find a heating engineer 🤬. Breakfast. There, a “maitre d’hôtel” tries to accommodate three groups at the same time… Chaos… Moreover, the kitchen has clearly not calculated its move well: it lacks everything. We ate what was left, at the bar, on a stool... Finally, to top it all off, the coffee machine gave up the ghost... The next day, the machine was working again, but the breakfast was still the same shabby: very very little choice and in insufficient quantity... We fortunately kept our good humor, because it ended up becoming comical..., but never again this "hotel".

Hôtel très bien situé pour assister à un concert ou à un match à la "Paris Defense Arena" (+/- 400m). Facile d'accès, puisque situé à moins de 50m de la gare "Nanterre préfecture" (RER A permettant de rejoindre le centre de Paris rapidement).

Hôtel de bon confort avec personnel accueillant. Établissement bien situé station RER à 5min à pied.

Hotel en cours de renovation. Tres sympa et propre. Excellent accueil.

Lors de la réservation, il aurait été normal de prévenir le futur occupant que l'hôtel était en plein travaux. Après une journée quelque peu contraignante, impossible d'avoir un peu de repos dans la chambre l'après-midi à cause des bruits de perceuses. De plus pas énormément de chaînes sur la télé (la 2 et la 3 absente, pas de chaîne cryptée ...) donc pas suivi l'étape du Tour de France pendant la pause. Pas de clim ce qui fait qu'il a fallu ouvrir la fenètre la nuit mais bonjour le bruit dans la rue. Par contre l'équipe d'accueil à la réception super bien. Donc en global, j'ai été déçu de cet hôtel. Dommage !!

très bon hôtel , accueil très sympathiques , personnel très aimable et prévenant , chambre agréable , rénovation en cours qui ne nous a pas dérangés , salle de bains super joli , petit déjeuner super copieux , repas du soir également , on déplore juste le manque d un placard dans la chambre mais excusé car travaux en cours ,, séjour de quatre jours très agréable , merci

Chambre convenable mais problème D eau chaude

Déçu pour un hôtel 4 étoile car on entend trop les bruits de la rue. Les plus : La chambre est bien La literie est bonne Le moins : Par contre changez les fenêtres SVP, car mettre un double vitrage avec une ouvrant qui ne plaque pas correctement, ben ça ne sert rien. Donc on entend tout les bruits du boulevard et j'ai été obligé de dormir avec des bouchons d'oreilles. J'ai mieux dormis dans des hôtels de catégorie inférieure situés à côté du périphérique mais avec des bonnes fenêtres.
