Sleep Inn Nashville Downtown Opryland Area

Room was clean, and is so old that it had a vintage feel. Sadly it is in rough shape. Doors are scratched, everything feels dark and small. The desk staff was extremely rude. The only extras we asked for were a large trash bag so we could clean up the pizza boxes, etc from our dinner rather than leaving them for the staff, and a plunger because the toilet was taking forever to drain. When my husband returned the plunger after doing the maintenance himself the clerk snapped at him to put it back where he found it (she'd handed it to him). The man who checked us in last night was professional, if not friendly.

We unfortunately will not be returning to this hotel again. The location, although convenient was short of convenient in all other areas. The turn in is extremely sharp and has a massive speed bump not even six feet into the turn. Hold on to your grandma's dentures, this one is a woozy. Then, expect to wait at the counter for 10-15 minutes behind other patrons as staff laugh and joke with each other behind the closed doors, even after the bell has been rung several times. The breakfast from 6-9 is pitiful. The only warm thing you can have is a stale bagel you placed in the toaster and the things in the fridge, including the yogurt need to be examined closely to ensure it hasn't expired. We came for the weekend, and it was evident there is usually at least fruit, but the basket was empty all three mornings.

So loud. Obnoxious traffic is constant nearby and seems to project clearly into the room. The people staying there were some of the worst I’ve encountered in a while, so you’re sharing your stay with some inconsiderate types more than likely. Cleanliness was fine. Not the most modern place, but not bad if you get in cheap I suppose. Hard pass from me on a future visit

This property wasn't as described. The tv was the size of a computer monitor and was everything as very outdated. The breakfast was also terrible and not replenished. Would not stay again.

Fairly clean and comfortable. Only bad thing, I booked expecting a pool to keep kids busy. But the page forget to tell you the pool closes after Labor Day. So I might have chose a cheaper hotel due to the 1 amenity I wanted they weren't offering. Breakfast was simple no extras bagel cereal and a waffle maker.

This was a very convenient location for this trip. Breakfast very basic waffle, yogurt, cereal. All the staff was very friendly. Needs some updating but overall good.

I arrived around 10pm, where I was sitting in my car talking on the phone when someone comes up to me in the parking lot asking me if I was staying at that hotel, what was my room number and what was my name. They had no hotel insignias on any of their clothing, wearing all black, and it felt super sketchy. I was straight up rude to them, and refused to give them any information. At which point they walked into the hotel and after a moment, wrapped up my call, and went into the hotel. This person was indeed the front desk clerk, who was checking if I was supposed to be there or not. I apologized for being rude, but told them, that was very sketchy thing to do. In retrospect, it seems like a risk for the clerk. After checking in, the room has the same bedding as the other Sleep Inn I has stayed in for 2 nights prior. The room smelled like nothing. I know that sounds weird, but not dirty, not stale, not fresh, not like any cleaning agents. Neutral. The actual state of the room, walls, celing, etc... felt like it was 30 years old and in need of updating. And then for breakfast the next morning (arrived @ 8:30AM) was this tiny space the same size as my room with yogurt and cereal, the only hot food was a waffle maker, and toast. no eggs, sausage, fruit, bacon, or anything else. The OJ tasted like cleaner, I would give the Murfreesboro Sleep Inn a 4.5 stars, this location comes in at a 3. If the bedding wasn't the same, it feels like 2 completely different chains.

Great customer service. Room chair was quite stained on the arms. Room had been maintained but ready for a facelift

I know they are redoing the driveway, but it's rough...otherwise, A-OK stay
