I think a 2/3 star review is fair. For the most part the unit was clean, minus dirty pillow case and unswept floors in some areas. Location in the Gulch is probably the best part. . We didn’t have a balcony. Pool area nice but we didn’t use based on weather. Construction going on across the street started very early and was very loud!! No black out window covering so very bright light comes in early in the morning!! Getting in and out of building was somewhat tricky. We didn’t get checkin codes until exactly check in time, thru text. Early check in costs extra money! Checkout was a nightmare because we had to rely on messages thru a text for the procedure… a text that never came and left us wasting our vacation time waiting for it! I finally had to look for a number to call someone! Ugh!! We never met anyone regarding the unit- everything thru text! Walking to Broadway is about 15/20 min walk but it’s a lot of crossing busy streets and if the weather isn’t nice, it’s not a good walk. If we come back to Nashville we would not stay here again.

Bad experience. I have stayed at many AirBNB style apartments, this one was bottom of the list when it came to decor, accessibilty and accomidations. The room was not dirty. It was just outfitted with the cheapest of the cheap finishings. No soap, shampoo for shower. It was advertised as a Two Bedroom" but it was a loft with no private bedrooms, one bedroom didnt even have a door. One TV and it was a 50". The only couch looked like it was from Big Lots and could barly fit 2 people. They epoxied the shower to moderize it and the expoxy is flaking off the floor and I cut my foot. The windows are screwed shut. There is a nice balcany but it was barred shut. Walls need fresh paint. Minimal kitchen accessories. Furniture and bed is so budget the fake marble sticker is peaking off the sofa table. The parking is a pain. They do not tell you that you MUST parking in a particular parking spot or your car will be booted. This place needs new management. Location is great and the expectations for accomidations are much higher than this place provides.

Locale Properties is a mixture of the "Read the Fine Print" and "iPad Tipping" cultures. They push everything on to you to do. There is no human interaction, they require you to study and take notes on several pages of their ARRIVAL GUIDE and if you do not follow the instructions to the EXACT letter you will get a violation fine. I followed the parking instructions by getting the pass from the unit and placing it on my mirror and notified them of my make model license plate, what I missed was that I had to park in a "LOCALE" labeled spot which was on page 3 subsection J paragraph 3 of their voluminous ARRIVAL GUIDE. Call me crazy but I don't want to study a guide on my vacation. 1 month later I get a parking violation for $192. When I explained my case to them their answer was... you guessed it... READ THE FINE PRINT you did not follow the instructions properly sorry pay the fine. This type of business that basically pushes all the info and responsibility on you without any human interaction and then EXPECTS to charge rates higher than average is exactly what I see with the iPad tipping madness expecting tips for absolutely no service no effort. It simply isn't worth the price.

Booked at the Locale for a couple of nights as a staycation since we are from the Nashville area. The instructions for the parking and arrival were spot on. Cleanliness of the room was great, amenities were great, and the location is perfect. Perfect place to stay if you don’t mind walking a little bit. It was a 12 min ride to Opry Mills,10 min ride to Geodis for the soccer fans, and a 8 min ride to ascend for a concert. All of our rides we took were less than $10 from that area. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a getaway.

The apartment is not comfortable or nice. No room for working or eating. Nasty inside the apartment and the hallways. If I was not traveling with my husband, I would have been nervous walking from the parking garage to the apartment.
