Overall this is a decent hotel at a good price and the typical conveniences of Homewood Suites (primarily the expanded kitchen amenities and a good hot breakfast). The star of the show is the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. Definitely one of the best I've encountered in my travels, including some expensive hotels that pride themselves on their service. The decor in the rooms is definitely outdated (maybe early 2000s) and the fitness center is pretty bare bones, but the hotel is overall good value.
A couple relatively easy areas of improvement should someone from Homewood Suites read this: adding smart TV capabilities (if you want to recruit a younger crowd this seems like an easy change which would also be great for families with small children), and adding at least 1 more pet station since only having one is difficult depending on which room you're in.
