What a superb experience! Just stayed here for 4 nights while home visiting family. The entrance is smart and modern and clean and even though I arrived late on in the evening, I was greeted, by name, by a very friendly receptionist. Great start to the trip for a tired traveller. The room was large, plenty of space for my folded clothes and hanging items, it was spotlessly clean, a desk, chair, armchair, great tv set up. The bathroom again, super clean with good quality toiletries and white, fluffy towels - and plenty of them. The bedroom was warm and comfortable and the heating stayed on without a break, which isn’t always the case in some NI hotels. When I needed to ask the staff for help or advice it was a great experience. Friendly and helpful people on the desk who genuinely couldn’t do enough for me. I hadn’t stayed here before, but next time I’m home I will definitely stay here again. This was undoubtedly the best hotel I have stayed at in the Belfast/Bangor/Ards area.

Visited the La Mon for afternoon tea. Chose it as they offered a savoury afternoon tea rather than just afternoon tea and was I glad we did, what a delight! We had mini sliders, jambons, mini beef wellingtons as well as sandwiches, scones with jam, cream etc and a mini chocolate desert……..the selection was unbelievable, very tasty and beautifully presented. Looking forward to a family wedding soon & will definitely return for the savoury afternoon tea 👍
