Unusual but great hotel with a wonderful view over the whole valley, especially when seated in the restaurant.

Excellent interior design in the rooms, restaurant, public spaces. Very, very clean. Great half way stop when coming from or going to the south coast. And then there is the restaurant. Michelin rated chef, super creative, local products, excellent full staff.
What a great surprise.
The downside: they're closed for the season after December 25th.

Escapade auvergnate Très belle surprise culinaire bien au dessus d'un restaurant 1 étoile. Il est très surprenant que le Guide Michelin n'ait pas encore attribué une 2ème étoile à Adrien Descouls : cuisine subtile et originale, maîtrise parfaite des cuissons et association réussi de différentes saveurs..... Très jolie salle de restaurant au top avec une vue magnifique ! L'accueil d'Adrien Descouls est chaleureux et nous avons apprécié de pouvoir échanger avec ce jeune chef motivé et entreprenant. Belle chambre panoramique avec une vue sublime Encore bravo à toute l'équipe Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et avons hâte de découvrir la nouvelle terrasse.....

Belle chambre, décorée avec soin et sobriété, superbe vue. WC séparés, douche à l italienne, double vasque, literie super confortable, vue panoramique. Cafetière Nespresso à disposition sur le palier et très bon accueil. Pour nous les seuls bemols sont que les chambres sont situées sous la salle du restaurant, donc quelques bruits sauf si vous avez le bonheur de dîner dans ce superbe restaurant…et il manque une penderie haute ou un porte manteau….car en hivers dans la région il vaut mieux se couvrir un peu. Situé sur le plateau panoramique du bourg , très jolie vue sur l ancien village médiéval.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel au milieu des ruines d’une construction médiévale surplombant la vallée est absolument unique et vaut à lui seul le détour à quelques Kms seulement de l’autoroute. Chambres vastes, propres et très bien équipées.
