Norwalk Hotels with Breakfast

Hotel seemed more rundown than when I stayed there before the pandemic. Got there late at night (nearly 11 pm) and left early (by 7:30 am). Only interacted with one person at front desk. He did the bare minimum - checked me in & gave me a room key, but did not mention any hotel amenities. My booking was for a king bed but I was assigned a room with 2 double beds - no explanation was offered. After I got to my room, I found there were no vending machines on the 2nd floor. Guests have to go to the front desk pantry. It would have been helpful if I'd known that when I checked in. Also, the parking lot was full; I had to drive to a poorly lit area at the back, park there and then walk around the building in the dark to the front desk. Altogether, it was certainly not a typical Hilton experience!

The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good. There are churches and other places to go around. It is within walking distance of the railway station and supermarket. There are also restaurants nearby, and it is not far from New Haven and New York.

Low cost luxury! Highly recommended!

Stayed in this hotel for one night when traveling through the area. The location is excellent. Close to Norwalk and anything you need in the area. In addition close access to NYC and the rest of CT. The stay was on point for what is expected from a Courtyard. Room was clean and staff was very helpful both at check in and out. The only issues were the pillows weren’t the most comfortable and the room temperature controls seemed to have a sleep mode that kicked in at some point and caused the room temperature to warm more than we like. This may have been room specific and didn’t cause a major issue with our stay. Overall we will absolutely stay here again. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Tive muitos problemas para conseguir dormir na única noite que permaneci no hotel no terceiro andar e no final do corredor (06/11/2021). Logo no check-in e apesar de ter pago o hotel com antecedência, tive de depositar por volta US$ 70,00 para segurança do hotel. Isso é muito complicado para quem tem cartão de crédito internacional, e não foi avisado no momento da reserva. O aquecedor fazia um barulho impossível e apesar da noite fria, tivemos de desligar para reduzir os sons. Daí percebemos o ruído no banheiro. A descarga disparava de quando em quando. O som era abafado, por isso demoramos para entender que o problema estava no banheiro da unidade e não na coluna. Em não conseguindo apoio dos funcionários do hotel, ligamos para um amigo que conhecia de hidráulica, e por volta de 1:30 am conseguimos desligar a água (ficamos sem descarga automática. Ainda restou o chuveiro pingando....Bem, conseguimos dormir por volta das 2:30 am. Fizemos as reclamações no check-in, às 11:00 am no dia 07/11/2021. Fomos informados que a gerência entraria em contato no dia 08/11/2021. Isso ainda não aconteceu (hoje é 16/11/2021). Para piorar, eu esqueci um vestido de festa no quarto (longo, branco e com desenhos em preto). Logo que cheguei em casa e desarrumei a mala, no dia 07/11/2021, percebi a ausência do vestido e enviei um e-mail para hotel avisando sobre o fato e informando que eu iria buscar no dia seguinte. Qual não foi a minha tristeza: além de não responderem o e-mail, o vestido NÃO foi encontrado. O funcionário se desculpou e só. Fizemos um depósito para proteger o hotel e não fomos ao menos cuidadosamente atendidos. Viajo muito e jamais passei por isso no Brasil, na Europa ou mesmo em hotéis menos pontuados aqui nos EUA. Aguardando contato dos representantes do EVEN HOTEL NORWALK até hoje.
