Omihachiman Homestays

It seems to be often used for city events and public meetings in an old-fashioned hotel in the center of OMI city. One night only for the purpose of giving OMI beef at a nearby steak house. The operation at the front desk is good and helpful. There is a sense of stability in old stores.

Omihachiman & Azuchi 1 night 2 day We used it for a solo trip. It was ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ (ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ) and the room ｻｲｽﾞ:17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 135cm. Even if you have a big luggage, you can open and close in the room (see attached photo). Because ﾎﾃﾙ is near the station, it is convenient for travelers in the sense of leaving your luggage and walking around Omihachiman. However, if you stay on the JR Biwako line side, the railway ﾏﾆｱ can see the JR running in front of you. It may be fun, but if you don't, you may be worried about the sound of the freight train running in the middle of the night. (If you care about the sound, you may be better to stay in a room facing the north.) Breakfast is not eaten or eaten The room rate is the same, so the ﾒﾆｭｰ type is limited, but ﾊﾟﾝ can be baked and ﾊﾟﾝ It is recommended to be put in the stomach even a little. I stayed for 3 nights, but the new corona countermeasure was also firm and I was able to rest assured. Convenience stores (30 seconds walk) are very close from the station (one minute walk). The ion is also on the other side of the station, but I was able to go immediately by the free passage. I thought it was very convenient as a base for sightseeing in the Hudong region.

The rooms (and bathroom) were small. We were happy we only had our backpack with us and that our luggage was sent to the next hotel. As a family of four, we were hosted in two separate rooms (without connectiing doors). There are free soft-drinks, tea and coffee near the reception for free. There were as well massage chairs available for free. The breakfast was decent.

Hotel location should be the biggest advantage, about five minutes walk from the river Basaka Station. The hotel staff is very professional and welcoming. The hotel's breakfast is a traditional Japanese rice side dish, simple but the taste is quite satisfactory. Other aspects are standard business hotels, if you are on a business trip, you can choose.

I stayed for one night on weekdays while the cherry blossoms were blooming in April. I really wanted to stay in Kyoto City for sightseeing in Kyoto the next day, but it was a hotel that I found far away to Omihachiman city because the accommodation cost was unbelievable. It is one by train to Kyoto, so it is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto, and of course, you can also sightseeing in Omihachiman, so I think it is not a bad choice. It is the decisive choice of good word of mouth evaluation. It was a higher price setting than it looked, but I felt that the season was seasonal, so I couldn't do it. The next day was scheduled to check out early in the morning, so it is one of the reasons for the choice that I wanted to go as cheap as possible. It is a little far from the station, but it is not a distance that can't walk. Bus is also available. There is no convenience store nearby. Restaurants can be found if you walk a little. The hotel looks a bit old local business hotel. The appearance was a bit tired, and even if I entered, I was tired. However, a little different from the other, the response of the front desk attendant was very kind with a smile. It was the most kind response in recent years. This is raising the evaluation by 1 stage. The room was a single room, but the impression that the room was tired. The necessary facilities were available, but I felt like a hotel to secure a place to sleep rather than relax at the hotel. I didn't have a vinyl bag attached to the trash can, so I put the trash in a convenience store bag and dumped it. If the price is a little cheaper, I may use it next time.

The hotel is located by the lake, and you can take a free shuttle bus at the north exit of JR Station. You need to make an appointment in advance. The hotel management is in place and the staff is professional, warm and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, the equipment was slightly old, and the lake view outside the window was very charming. Dinner is a near Jiangniu banquet, the ingredients are fresh, rich and delicious, beyond my expectations. The breakfast is also great, with a wide variety of varieties, you can enjoy the lake scenery. The public hot spring bath in the hotel is not big, there is a sauna, I like it very much. In the evening, the guests sing collectively with the small band conductor. Stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, relax and enjoy a warm and peaceful time here. Very recommended!
