On our many trips we have met many nice hosts. In this respect, the staff at Ancora belong to the absolute upper class. Whether at the reception, at dinner, at breakfast or even the cleaning staff, everyone was very nice, helpful and hard-working. Our room was a nice size with a nice view over the rooftops through some trees to the sea. We also had a nice balcony in front of our room. We didn't book a sea view, no idea if we got an upgrade. The bathroom was also big enough and everything worked well. The shower had a powerful jet of water, was nice and warm and also worked well. Everything was clean. Our room was cleaned daily. The bed linen and towels smelled fresh and pleasant. You could decide for yourself how often you get the towels changed. The internet wasn't very fast, but was very reliable and stable. There was a fairly large LED TV in our room, but we didn't use it. Despite our orthopedic problems, we were able to lie very comfortably in the beds. They were of very good quality. There was an elevator that worked well and reliably. Although we stayed at this hotel in the absolute low season at the beginning of March and the hotel was almost unoccupied, we found an excellent breakfast buffet. In addition to the complete normal standards, there were eggs, which were prepared accordingly on request, bacon, as well as very excellent regional Catalan cheese and sausage specialties, as well as regional sweets. The orange juice was obviously freshly squeezed. As soon as something ran low, it was refilled immediately. We really enjoyed the coffee from the capsule machine. In the evening you could eat in the hotel's own restaurant. The prices are at the usual local prices. The dishes we had, whether it was chicken, lamb shoulder, various fish dishes, even sea urchin or side dishes, all tasted very good. There is a large private free car park for the hotel in front of the hotel, both on the street and across the street. We felt very comfortable here and can recommend the hotel without reservation.

Just perfect ! From reception to departure! We arrived without a reservation. We were well received. Clean, pleasant room, with balcony with sea view! The beach is easily accessible on foot! The swimming pool, relaxation area and mini golf area are extremely clean! The restaurant room and its terrace are well appointed. A big thank you to the whole team. I recommend ! Small suggestion: Think about foreign channels.

This is a hotel where we will not fail to return if we return to Palamos. A very warm welcome, the rooms are spacious, the restaurant area is really good (good, hearty breakfast and varied menu choices) We came as a group (16) and everything went very well, everyone is satisfied. We had full board until Sunday noon but ultimately we decided to leave early on Sunday morning being far away. The director prepared packed lunches for us, he was not obliged to do so and I thank him for that. We really enjoyed it. I recommend this hotel.

Good, kind and friendly motorbike service, rooms with a livable balcony and a view, abundant and quality buffet breakfast, suitable for every taste. Clean, structure not very recent but well kept, definitely excellent price for the service offered

Estuvimos en Nochevieja, se nota que es un ambiente familiar los que llevan el negocio, muy amables en recepción y en el comedor, gran variedad de productos para comer, cereales, frutos secos, muchos tipos de quesos. Fuimos con dos perritas y no nos cobraron el plus de mascotas. Lo que más me gustó fue la limpieza del lavo y las camas
